Ginza Capital Hotel Akane

Pros: The staff were helpful and responsive. They let us borrow umbrellas when it was raining. There are lots of places in walking distance and the nearby subway stations are easily walkable in a few minutes. The double room has plenty of space and has a nice view of the street. This is really the best value for money among the hotels I've stayed in Tokyo.

Cons: Nothing much, but if you don't speak Japanese, you may have a hard time as not a lot of staff speak English.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable room with very helpful staff.

Pros: The room was so comfortable and the most spacious of rooms that we had stayed in during our trip. The staff were super lovely and helpful (offering to store our luggage whilst we awaited for our check in time). The room was lovely, clean and honestly our favorite from our trip.

Nice hotel

Pros: Wasn't too far from a train station and had a Lawson just down the street. The room was a little dated but it was clean enough to stay in for a few nights.

Cons: Because the room was a little dated, it did have a bit of a smell. Had to open the window to air it out a bit. The toilet was right in front of one of the beds which I didn't particularly care about, just putting this here if someone does. The bathroom also had a bit of a smell and it was kind of cramped in there.

Good property and can be better if renovated

Pros: Location and convenience is good as per the city population.

Cons: Needs Major renovation and to be brought to present day facilities and expectations

Great place for solo travelers

Pros: It is very near two Metro Subway stations. There are also many convenience stores nearby. 1-2 stations away from Ginza Shopping District, with many places walkable in ten minutes or less.

Cons: The rooms are smaller than expected. Booked a double room but got assigned a semi-double instead. Not sure if this was a mistake but my fault for not asking further.

Perfect location for exploring Tokyo

Pros: The location was perfect, we were either walking distance from where we were wanting to go or close enough to a train line to get there

Cons: The beds were a bit uncomfortable

Pros: Thank You all staff, even with some language barriers, they found the way to make my stay great.

A lovely surprise package in Tokyo

Pros: Very clean and exceptionally good for the price range in comparison with some other hotels in Europe and North America

Cons: On the small size, which is understandable compared to the spaciousness of North America

Pros: Staff was great. Train station was a two minute walk

Cons: The name. 2 other hotels within 500 meters with very similar names. Cabbies we’re all messed up

Great location

Pros: Very clean. Very central and walking distance to multiple train lines & restaurants and shops.
