Pros: The location is great, being very close to Ikebukuro railway station, restaurants, and lots of shops, including Uniqlo! The staff were all very helpful. and the rooms were of a good size. Another plus is the well stocked Family Mart store located in the hotel.

Great location with great service ! Best hotel in Ikebukuro
Pros: Location is great, the hotel is clean and practical with a konbini on its premises and a mall. This was the first hotel I stayed at in Tokyo back in 2006 and it was as great as it was in my memories !

great place for the price. not brand new. no complaints.
Pros: room was clean. the window can't be open. and we stayed there during the winter, felt warm at times. sound proofing was good. toilet facilities look dated though clean. connectivity to mall was good. 8 - 10 mins walking distance to subway and shops.
Cons: after a day of outing on the way back; the thought of walking back to the hotel is tiring after coming out from the train station. eventually, we choose to take the uber back to the hotel instead of walking. costs us about 1500 yen averagely.

Very Nice Stay, as usual
Pros: - Location. This is not the first time I've stayed here. It's located inside Sunshine City, so you can easily go shopping without a jacket in the winter. There is a Family Mart downstairs in the lobby, a supermarket across the street, and a ton of restaurants inside the mall and in the area. It's also close to quite a few train stations. - Staff: Staff are nice and polite, and they always try their best to help you. Most of the staff do also speak a bit of English. - Easy access to the airport: There is a limo bus directly leaving from here, so I did not need to lug my luggage on the train.
Cons: - Depending on which room you book, some rooms are smaller than others. We got an upgrade this time and had a larger room. - This is purely due to my timing of stay, but the higher floor elevator did not go down to B1 (it usually does, it's due to renovation that will end by Feb, 2026). It's a little inconvenient when I have to go to G and then go down.

Room for consideration
Pros: Location is amazing for Bus pick up to Fuji Area. Connected to shopping mall and plenty of convenience shop nearby like seiyu and seira. Also walking distance to ikebukuro game area.
Cons: Staff should inform us about the exit from the mall being close. Also, during winter. The option of cold air in the room should be aloud. Can get very stuffy.

Pros: The staff were very helpful extending our stay, putting our rooms close together and letting us have a later checkout. The location next to the shopping mall was great! Rooms were spacious, with great views.
Cons: Its an older hotel so some of the carpets, and bathrooms are a bit dated
