Good hotel with good price for a short stay.

Pros: The room was slightly bigger than the average in Tokyo, the bed a bit small but confortable and location was good, it is 5/10 minutes walk from the Yamanote line. The description on booking is exactly what you get. Staff were really nice too.

Convenient stay

Pros: It's a short walk from the Ikebukuro sunshine bus terminal, and the hotel was kind enough to store our luggage for us overnight (because we have a next reservation with them after our excursion). Staff were very helpful and friendly too

Cons: Beds were a bit hard/mattress was too thin. To really go anywhere via subway, you have to go to Otsuka station that is like 600m away, but the walk was easy, even with luggage

Pros: Friendly staff, good location (10min walk from otsuka and higashi ikebukuro station which will basically take you everywhere)

Cons: There was fresh blood stain on bathroom wall :( I should've took a photo but well...

Pros: The location is very nice close to the metro. I really love Otsuka area it was very local. The rooms are very quiet.

Cons: The bed and pillow are not so comfy

Pros: excellent location, right next to the JR station (7 min walk) and a local tram (less then 2 min walk). sunshine city is around 10 minutes walk and so is the main street of ikebukuro. room was bigger then expected, a lot of luggage room in the double room, little desk, nice staff.

Cons: the room gets super cold easily, there is an AC heater but it might be a bit hard durning the peak winter season

Very comfortable stay

Pros: Hotel was close walk to JR Yamanote line station (<10 min to Otsuka) and close to metro station and shin-otsuka station too. Quiet location near 7/11 and familymart. Hotel was clean and lots of washing+drying machines available. Staff was very friendly and helped us in English.

Affordable convenient stay

Pros: Very good value for the money. Not a high end hotel by any means but rooms are clean and very functional Little kitchen area is very useful. The location is a 10 minute walk for 3 different train stations so it is very well connected 7/11 across the road and many restaurants within minutes. I will definitely be staying again in the future

Cons: Could do with one free clean during long stays

Cons: Extended the check out from 11:00 to 12:00, and they started calling me to check out at 12:05.

Staffs are nice and helpful!

Pros: I choose this hotel because It is not included cleaning service unless you make request and pay extra fee. I love this arrangement because I seldom use cleaning service during I lived in hotels every trip. It is more comfortable for me as I don't like strangers come to my room during I stay. I rather prefer cleaning up rubbish by myself if needed. Second, the staffs are nice. I still learning Japanese but I am not good at speaking so I just talk in English and we can communicate smoothly.

Cons: The air conditioner. Although I can control the temperature, the air conditioner will stop automatically. It is not malfunction just because of the setting/design. I can't get a good sleep because of the winds blows sometimes and stop. So I just closed it and use the humidity. Not a big problem because I stay at November.
