Pros: The property was amazing. It was in a great location. Taka took the time to greet us and explain some information to us. It was extremely clean and the beds were our favourite, being so comfortable. The kids loved the traditional room and it was very spacious. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

A spacious apartment in central Tokyo- great for a family

Pros: Very Spacious apartment for Tokyo, great laundry facilities and a central location with good kitchen equipment. Cute decor in the futon bedroom.

Cons: Aircon out in the bedroom (heaters were provided) and electricity tripped a few times (team came quickly to sort).

A perfect family stay in the heart of Tokyo – twice!

Pros: We had a wonderful experience staying at Oyado Tsuki to Kawa, so much so that we chose to stay here twice, before and after our trip to Kyoto and Osaka. The house is full of character and charm, offering a unique and memorable Tokyo experience. The location is ideal: just a short walk to Shinjuku and the train station, yet peaceful and quiet. The house is thoughtfully arranged and well-equipped with comfortable appliances and everything a family might need. It’s truly a perfect place for families with kids. It is not a brand new house but has everything you may need. The host was incredibly kind and flexible with our early check-in and late check-out requests, which made our travel logistics much easier. We would definitely stay at Oyado Tsuki to Kawa again when we return to Tokyo. Highly recommended!

Very enjoyable

Pros: Traditional Japanese home, futons to sleep on, but also standard double beds. Very close to the main street for shopping, meals etc, but not noisy at all. Beautiful small garden

Fantastic apartment in the heart of Tokyo

Pros: The apartment was lovely. Better and larger than expected. Convenient location - a few minutes walk to Shin-Okubo station and easy walking to Shinjuku. Contained everything that we needed. Perfect for a family of 4. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful - Taka kindly carried all of our bags up the steps.

Cons: The stairs are very steep to the entry - this was fine for us but would be difficult for less mobile people.

Wonderful location felt like a home away from home!

Pros: Great location with mix of traditional and modern accommodation, which was spacious and comfortable. Everything provided with well appointed bathroom, washer /dryer and drying room. We stayed in the downstairs apartment that had 2 bedrooms one with twin mattress beds and the other room had twin futons. Staff were very accommodating with our arrival allowing us to check in at 8am after a long flight which was invaluable allowing us to unpack refresh and enjoy a whole extra day of exploring. Amazing!

Quieter part of Shinjuku

Pros: Quieter stay within the busy boundary of Shinjuku. Convenient store, halal butchery nearby. The 3-Bedroom was spacious enough for our family of 6 adults. The owner was very kind enough to allow us to extend our holding luggage till 430pm.

Cons: The oven was slightly not cleaned throughly enough from the previous occupier. Other than that, everything was fine

Pros: The designs and layout of the house, traditional Japanese design, the yard, the house size, facilities, kitchen, provided coffee powder, large fridge, laundry corner, bathroom, the laundry drying blower is very convenient.

Cons: sometimes can hear others from upstairs but not very often
