Do yourself a favour and stay at Mat Waseda.

Pros: The room was fully self contained with a near full sized refrigerator. Everything you needed to start off was supplied although after a few days I had to buy my own laundry liquid and toilet paper. The bed was very comfortable and the air-conditioning was fantastic. The location is down a quiet side street but close to the station and main road with supermarket, convenience stores and lots of restaurants and takeaways. I would definitely stay here again as I love having a kitchen, washing machine and couch when I have an extended stay. Be prepared for a bit of messing around to get in the first time but don't let that put you off.

Cons: I was completely unable to contact the host in any way. The messages I left via Booking.com were marked received by the host but still no response. The phone number supplied wasn't answered and no direct email address was given. I was unable to use the Wi-fi as no password was supplied so when my phone data ran out I was cut off from the world! I also tried to contact the host about the broken key-safe of the apartment door but again, no response. The directions given for self check-in/check-out didn't work and it was very difficult to decipher the eight pages of instructions to gain entry to the building and get the room key. As an over 60's traveler I would not have been able to get in without the help my tech savvy son.

Fantastic

Pros: This hotel was my absolute favorite. Supergood price for one week. Very clean and fresh. 7/11 and Familymart was only 3 min walk away. Waseda is a very quite and beautiful neighbourhood. Trainstation nearby. I had no problem checking in, I got instructions beforehand and they were easy to follow.

Pros: Everything is close to get by, stores, transport and its a quiet area near college

Cons: The key pick, process of getting the keys is a bit slugish, at the door you have to do check in on tablet after that it opens the key lock of box where the key is but the keys are not labled with what room number you got. So it took a bit for us to get the right door

Pros: Location is convenient, just minutes walking from Waseda station. A number of convenience stores within 3-5 minute walk distance. A small kitchenette is quite convenient and the storage space is plentiful for such a small unit.

Cons: Never figured out how to use on-site wifi, had to rely on cell phone internet.

Good, it's very close to my in-law's house so we will definitely consider to book again.

Pros: It was quite pleasant for us to stay there. Washing machine is good, drying facility in the shower room is also great. We received a lot of shower gel/ shampoo/ and conditioners, if you can offer one more pack of the washing liquid for the clothes will be even better so we can wash it every night haha. But it is good enough! Also there is a hoover so we can clean the floor as well.

Cons: We found some hairs on the carpets when we get in, fortunately there is a hoover inside.

The apartment was nice and perfect for my needs,but the management should be much more professional.

Pros: The apartment was indeed tiny, but comfortable and well equipped. It was very clean, and everything was in excellent condition. Since I visited Waseda University, for me the location was very good. There is a convenience store very near, and restaurants nearby.

Cons: Check-in is unnecessarily too complicated. While I managed to get my key relatively fast, every day I saw helpless clients standing at the machine for very long time, trying to figure out what to do. When I got the key, there was no room number on it, so I had no clue which apartment was mine. I was just about to try every single door, when my Japanese friend arrived and he could call them for this information. They never gave me the wi-fi code, so we needed to call them again. For foreign travellers without Japanese SIM card it can be a nightmare to sort out these things. It was an extremely painful process to obtain a receipt from them.

Pros: Nice location close to the Waseda University. New equipment, large kitchen, good air conditioning. Everything super clean.

Cons: A bit tight for three people, missing sitting equipment in the patio, quite complicated online self check-in.

Pros: 何度か利用してますが、毎回清潔でアメニティや洗濯洗剤などもご用意くださり痒いところに手が届くサービスです。宅配ボックスが利用できるのもありがたいです。

Cons: とくになし

Pros: Sehr sauber! Die Badekabine, die auch zum Wäschetrocknen geeignet ist. Zimmeraufteilung mit der Abtrennung. Getrennte Toilette vom Bad.

Cons: Leider eher nur Plastikgeschirr, zum Teetrinken kein Genuss.

Excellent séjour pour 3 dans un petit appartement optimisé

Pros: L'emplacement, le niveau d'équipements et la résidence moderne et calme.
