Amazing location in Tokyo at a very fair value

Pros: The location simply could not have been better at any price - the Higashi-shinjuku door A2 was literally just a few meters from the entrance so it was always extremely easy to catch a train going anywhere. Two subway lines run from that station and they cross over with every other line at least once in a few stops. I cannot overstate how convenient that is. There are tons of delicious restaurants nearby, and it is only a 5-10 minute walk from the exciting Kabukicho area. The host was very responsive, and I appreciated having a laundry machine as well as a small balcony facing the courtyard. The beds were also very comfortable and the shower pressure & temperature were great.

Cons: I think this room would benefit a lot from having one of the beds removed to be replaced with a working area like a desk, or even a small eating area. It was definitely designed with the Japanese ethos of \
