Pros: Loved the location and proximity to Shinjuku for this price. Size is considered quite large for one/two persons in Tokyo.

Cons: Could use some refreshing or deep cleaning in the bathroom. Had a bit of a moldy smell when I first came in the room.

Pros: The guesthouse is located in Shinjuku, and it's also convenient to walk to Ōkubo, making it a great choice for a trip to Tokyo! The only minor points are that the interior facilities are a bit dated, and it would be great if the bathroom were a bit bigger.

Great for a short stay inbetween transit

Pros: Very convenient location in Shinjuku, Right next to metro exit. Host was friendly and helpful, allowed me to leave luggage before checking in.

Cons: really tiny for a family of 4, but i guess it's Tokyo and they really tried to make it as comfortable as possible given the physical constraints.

Pros: The apartment was as described – clean, well-equipped, and in a good location. Communication with the host was easy, and check-in/check-out went smoothly. A minor downside was poor soundproofing, but overall, the stay was pleasant. A good place for a few days. Thanks :)

Cons: Room is quite old and entrance hall where the mirror is located, the light cannot be turned on. We are a family of one man and 3 women so getting ready feels not bright enough when we need all the space in the room. 😛

Cons: This is an old building, there was no bidet and toilet and bathroom is small

Pros: Location is perfect. It has many shops around and it is essentially 1 min walk to the metro or 16 min to Shinjuku major train station. It is a busy area so that meant many amenities. The neds were comfortable including the pull out sofa. Thr host was very friendly and replied quickly. We felt secure.

Cons: The deadbolt key lock needs to be replaced because on day 1, we had a hard time locking the door so one of us ended up staying to watch our stuffs which was not ideal on a family vacation until I knew how to put the pressure on the lock to use the deadbolt...pushed to the NW corner and coaxed it a bit. The place needs a good cleaning. it is an older building.

Great price/value proposition. Would be great to stay here again.

Pros: Excellent location - in the center with plenty of entertainment, including cafes, shops, parks, etc. Good metro access is in the next house. Wi-fi and plug adapters are present. Hospitable owner of the apartments.

Cons: The apartments are small - good for a couple, but cramped for three or four. There are difficulties with adjusting the water in the shower and draining, but you can get used to it. There were no knives found in the kitchen, it’s good that we took a multitool - they used it. The biggest disadvantage is the howl of ambulance sirens on the street at night. I learned about this problem from reviews in other hotels, so I was prepared for this - we brought earplugs and slept with them. Another inconvenience is that another house is being built two meters from the room. On weekdays, construction workers make noise from 8 a.m., on weekends from 9 a.m. I don’t know how long the construction will continue. The good thing is that when the building is completed, it will block the howl of sirens from the road.
