Ustay ueno

Pros: Central location with easy check in and check out, super handy to have the small kitchen and very spacious compared to other accommodation in Tokyo

Pros: Brand new building 10 minute walk from the metro. Nice quiet area. Host very responsive and friendly.

Pros: Ustay Ueno provided relatively spacious accommodation only metres away from bustling Ueno. The owner was very quick to respond to a query I had. We had a very comfortable stay.

Quiet, convenient, good value for money

Pros: Fast response time to messages. Easy to book. Luggage storage options before and after stay. Piano in the entryway. Washing machine, fridge, toiletries, umbrellas, heating, balcony. Quiet. Easy to walk to food locations and transport. Smoking area outside. Considering the other options I'd reviewed for our stay this place was more modern and good value for money.

Cons: For three people with luggage it was a little tight. One person was sleeping on a mattress on the floor which made the wardrobe inaccessible. There was no room to sit other than in the beds. As we were out exploring Tokyo and for the price this wasn't a big problem. The photos show a range of properties.

Nice flat with a good location

Pros: Good location, near the skyliner (convenient transfer to Narita airport), clean and spacious in comparison of other Japanese flats.

Cons: It is a little bit overpriced

Pros: Compact but well equipped, clean and very strategically located

Pros: The room is clean, near to subway, 8 minutes walk to jr station, 15 minutes walk to ueno station very strategic location with affordable price. Near to masjid and halal food

Tokyo short trip

Pros: Location - easy access to few metro stations in Ueno, especially to Naka-Okachimachi. Facilities - owner provide tissues, toothbrushes, comb, vacuum and iron near to the ground floor elevator. Self service. Room - good size for 2 person but would be too crowded for 3. Bed comfortable. Kitchen - well equipped with fridge, stove, microwave and kettle. Toilet - instruction for hot water and ventilation all very clear. Washing machine and laundry detergent provided, saving us the hassle of laundry issue. Love the toiletries provided.

Pros: - very easy access to many different train stations and train lines, meaning we hardly ever had to transfer trains to get to where we wanted to be! - there were tonnes of great restaurants in the area for dinner. - we could turn off the sensor light by the bathroom! - laundry facilities and the 'dry clothes' function in the bathroom were a huge bonus. - we were able to leave our bags at the accomodation after check out and pick them up before we headed to the airport in the evening.

Cons: - the bed was quite close to the floor, and there was tatami style seating, so it may not be appropriate for people with mobility issues.

Overall, good stay in Ustay, all thanks to the host

Pros: Check-in and out was very easy. the host is excellent prior to check-in, he provided us with good & useful info. After we checked out, we accidentally left our headphone in the apt and they promptly sent a message to alert us. They even assisted to arrange for local courier to send the headphone to our next location. Thank you so much for your help. Handful of convenient stores in the area and it is a peaceful place to stay for few days.

Cons: apt is a little small even for 3 people.
