Excellent Stay Near Akihabara Station

Pros: Great location near Akihabara Station, very convenient for transportation and dining. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A great stay overall—would definitely choose this hotel again.

Pros: I had a wonderful stay at Yamatoinn Hotel. The location is fantastic—only about a 10-minute walk from Akihabara, making it very convenient for shopping, sightseeing, and experiencing the unique culture of the area, while still being quiet and comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. For Tokyo, the room size was quite reasonable, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. All the facilities were in good condition. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful, making the stay feel warm and welcoming. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money. I would definitely choose Yamatoinn again on my next trip to Tokyo and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

Pros: - close to Ueno and Akihabara - highly recommended as a first stay in Japan. We loved the design and the logo - newly renovated and very clean - a great mix of modern and traditional (it even has a genkan) - surprisingly spacious for four people with cabin-size luggage. Bigger than it looked in the photos

Cons: - there was only one freestanding clothes rack with a few hangers, plus a small square clip hanger for laundry, so there wasn’t enough space to hang jackets and wet towels separately.

Cozy Apartment in Akiba

Pros: A wonderful stay in a quiet area conveniently located between Akihabara and Ueno Stations. It's just a 10–15 minute walk to either! The room had a great atmosphere, with very comfortable beds and spotless cleanliness. There’s a 7-Eleven nearby, which was super convenient. The owner was friendly and helpful, and we truly had an amazing time.

Pros: This stay was absolutely wonderful! The host was very warm and responsive, and the check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The room was clean, well-organized, and fully equipped. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept really well. The location is convenient, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it easy to get around. I especially loved the cozy and homey interior of the room. If I come back to Tokyo, I will definitely choose this place again. Highly recommended!

Veldig hjelpsomt vertskap, stille og sentralt.

Pros: Veldig rent, sentralt og veldig behjelpelig vertskap! Stille og velfungerende air-condition.

Cons: Litt mørkt uten vinduer. De japanske sengene var veldig harde, men vi fikk bedre madrasser natt 2.

Bydlel bych tu znova.

Pros: Pohodlna pozice u Akiby a soucasne Skylineru, zadne schody (room 101), super ciste a bezproblemova pohotova komunikace.

Cons: Okna pouze do sousednich zdi (room 101)

Très bien pour un premier séjour à Tokyo

Pros: Très joli car refait récemment. Tout neuf et très bien équipé. Petit mais c’est un peu partout comme ça à Tokyo j’imagine. Emplacement sympa: on a bien apprécié le quartier, il faut marcher une dizaine de minutes pour trouver un métro mais plusieurs options possibles. Pour nous c’était le bon emplacement par rapport à ce que nous avons visité

Cons: Deux lits normaux très bien et deux lits futons qui n’étaient pas très confortables (pas très épais…) Appartement assez humide (mais nous n’avons pas utilisé le climatiseur qui aurait sûrement permis de corriger cela)
