Higashi Komagata House by Tranova

Pros: Location is great, in walking distance from Asakusa. Apartment is very clean and has everything needed for longer stay. Owner is very responsive, you get detailed description how to get to apartment and how to use all devices. Highly recomendation for stay in Tokyo.

Pros: Nice location and very convenient. With good facilities.

Pros: The place was very clean with modern appliances. The drying bathroom with the washing machine was brilliant.

Cons: It was a bit of a walk to the station but quite pleasant. The couch was a bit uncomfortable.

Worth it

Pros: Close to Asakusa neighborhood. Clean and comfortable

Cons: Bed was a bit small.

Pros: Really great overall ! Spacious, comfy, calm, clean, well equipped and nice rooftop to chill !

Cons: The only downside (due to the great value for money) is the location, 8-10 mins from metro station by walk. It might not sound like a big deal at first but it becomes one at the end of the day after the daily 20-30K steps :)

Pros: Nice appartment, I recommend it to every small family.

Pros: Location was convenient for our needs as we wanted to stay close to the red line. The 33 bus (2 min walk) which heads south was a plus. A taxi ride from Asakusa Ekimise is less than flagfall so that 10 min walk could be saved for 500 yen. The apartment feels newish and the bathroom dryer made it easy for laundry. Sumida Park close is a really nice park for kids as well. Good for family for sure.

Cons: The beds were a little firmer than we would like and if you needed a transit to other subway lines, it can be anywhere from 15 to 30 mins stay not be for everyone.

Would definitely stay again if this place is available the next time we are in Tokyo.

Pros: Very good value for money, good size for two people. Place was fairly new and very clean. Firm mattress, soft pillows. One convenience store nearby with a few others a bit further away. Quiet area. About a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest train station with some bus routes nearby. Different style of clothes dryer which I really like and this helps the shower area dry fast. Near Asakusa Kannon Temple which is a must visit!!!!

Cons: Had to remind the host regarding the way to collect the keys on arrival. Could have used some floor towels and 2 pillows per person instead of one. One of the mugs was leaking :(

Modern comfortable one bedroom apartment

Pros: The apartment was new and modern and had everything you need including a washing machine. Good area, quiet and close to local restaurants. Our apartment was on the ground floor. Very good information provided by the host. Access was easy. Internet was good.

Cons: The couch was very low. The bed wasn’t great. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the closest station, which wasn’t a big issue.

Pros: I love how it can accommodate to 4 pax. Upon arrival, thankfully a kind & friendly staff assisted me with the check-in. The room & its facilities were great, well-equipped and clean. Am able to do laundry & dry in the bathroom with its drying function. Love the location; peaceful & quiet, a nice walk along the bridge/ river (although it may be quite a distance to go to the nearest train stations).

Cons: The nearest convenient stores were quite a distance from the accommodation.
