we loved it

Pros: This was 1 of our favorite hotels. It has a lot of space to sleep, sit/relax and cook. The beds were very comfy, the ac worked great. The hotel is above the laundrystore. You can enter the hallway next to the laundrystore and take the lift to go to your room. Everything was well explained in English by the owner. The hotel has a good location to go explore.

Great location near Ueno station

Pros: Ueno is a fantastic area, it has two major stations within walking distance and there are so much to see/eat/do in this area.

Cons: It is a bit small for 4.

Pros: Lovely spacious apartment, relatively close to the station. Good communication by owner/manager. Lots of restaurants around the corner. Laundromat on bottom floor.

Cons: Only a minor thing, just needed somewhere to hang towels.

Pros: ホステルの一階に２４時間コインランドリーや近隣に２４時間スーパーやコンビニがあり、上野駅から徒歩５分ほどで立地がよかったです。

Cons: 幹線道路の横で深夜や早朝のトラックなどの音が少し気になりました。

Great Value for the Location

Pros: The location is great. Quiet neighborhood for easy sleep, but close to shops/restaurants/combini stores. Walkable to Ueno Station, Ueno Park, Sensō-ji, Sumida River walk, and more. The unit was cleaner and in better shape than I expected for Tokyo close to the center of town.

Cons: It is small, but two adults and one 10 year old fit well. Low ceiling. We could open at lease two suitcases at one time which us a rarity in Japan. Wasn’t a fan of the kitchenette being a part of the shower/washroom, even if separated by a door, but the toilet is in an entirely separate closet by the front door thankfully.

Pros: 徒歩圏内で結構遊べる。電車移動の不自由さをあまり感じなかった。ベット下の収納はキャリーバックを広げてそのまま押し込める空きスペースだと使い勝手がよくなるかも

Worth the price!

Pros: The owners were really nice and friendly. The place was spacious and clean. The location is near groceries, restaurants, and convenience stores.

Cons: It was a bit hard to find since there's no staff to welcome us, but we managed to find the place successfully. It is accessible to different transportation options, but there would be a few minutes of walk needed.
