APA Hotel Shinagawa Togoshi Ekimae

Exceptional value and location

Pros: Outstanding value, facilities, staff and superb location. Bike hire and easy ride along the river to the Sea of Japan.

Cons: Nothing, all wonderful.

Pros: Location for us was close to our family and subway station Hotel in a bustling long street with all sorts of small shops and restaurants New towels and toiletries every day Room were made up every 3 days

Cons: Extremely small room but with large space under the bed for luggage No cupboards Tried to get an upgrade but all booked

Nice little hotel in a quaint area.

Pros: This hotel is located in a very nice area with lots of eateries & shopping. It's also very near to 2 train stations, 5-10 mins walk, to get you everywhere. There's also a direct train from Narita International airport to hotel.

Cons: No laundry service. But there are many laundrette nearby.

Pros: The location was good for us, in a not too busy area of Tokyo and close to rail links. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: The size of the room was slightly smaller than I expected but still comfortable. The Hotel does not offer breakfast which is normally something we go for. That said, there is a restaurant next door and a coffee shop very close by.

Practical location

Pros: Classic APA hotel nicely located in the Togoshi-Ginza shopping street and near the station. Easy to go around Shibuya, etc. Also, very kind staff ready to help with anything. Plus some of them speak very well English, so it does facilitate communication if your Japanese is not on point.

Cons: They do not have their own laundry, which is not a big problem as they will show you where the public automated ones are, barely 4 minutes from the hotel, so that's fine. But it's just easier when it's in the hotel itself when you get lazy... Also, maybe the room was a bit dusty when I entered in comparison with other APAs.

Pros: Super nice staff, everything very accessible and comfy, room is on the smaller side but everything necessary is there

Cons: The toilet was quite dirty when I arrived

My amazing trip to Japan...

Pros: It was lovely, all the amenities I needed were to hand, conveniently positioned for the events that I needed to attend...

Pros: It's in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the station. The room was small but comfortable with a big TV and all the necessary amenities provided. The check-out process was super easy as well. You just take the elevator to the bottom floor and insert the card into the machine without even having to go to the reception desk. Would recommend it!

Affordable accommodation with everything you need.

Pros: This hotel had everything you could wish for. AC, fridge, toiletries, and a great location near 7/11 and Family Mart. Lots of restaurants right outside on the street. Sure, the room is small, but for the price, it’s worth it! We bought our own breakfast and always walked about 20 minutes to Osaki Station, which takes you directly to the Yamanote Line. There’s also a closer station if you prefer. Nothing to complain about!

Cons: Cleaning wasn’t done every day but every third day, although we did get fresh towels daily. The staff didn’t quite understand when we said the trash bin was full. We didn’t want to leave it outside the room in case the bag leaked. It’s really nothing to fuss about, but such a small room does get dusty and dirty pretty quickly. Overall a very good hotel!

Great hotel .in a good location

Pros: I found the location of this hotel to be excellent. It is next to a subway station which is one stop from the Yamanote line, set in a local shopping street that has lots to offer. The room was very clean and a good size.
