Pros: Located in a really good area which was quiet but located right next to Hatsudai station for convenient access to the rest of Tokyo, just a stones throw from Shibuya. The room was very clean.

Perfect balance of peacefulness and proximity to key Tokyo attractions

Pros: Port House Hatsudai has the perfect balance of a peaceful atmosphere and proximity to Tokyo’s bustling Shinjuku and Shibuya districts. The apartment is easy to access and private. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the local train station (which is not a JR one) and taxis can access the apartments easily. EXERCISE: This is a great place to stay if you enjoy running as it is close to the beautiful Yoyogi Park for a scenic 5km. FOR VEGETARIAN / VEGAN TRAVELLERS: • CocoIchibanya is a short walk from the apartments and has vegan curries and is open til midnight (perfect for a late night flight) • Dotour nearby has vegan coffees & matcha • There are also several vegan eateries around the fringe of Yoyogi Park (the Nut Exchange is great).

Cons: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. But other travellers should take note there are no staff on site.

Pros: The location was great, the space was very clean and we had everything we needed in the room. We also had such a great service via booking.com messaging when we were late from the airport.

Pros: Location is amazing! Quiet and well connected. Easy check-in, tea, coffee, filtered water available Comfy beds and towels

Cons: Amenities are all in one-dose single packaging (shampoo, soap, lotion...) Very little space to store luggage or even just hang towels in bathroom

Cheap and cheerful

Pros: Cheap and cheerful accommodation. Perfect for travellers who aren't spending much time in their room - had everything you would need. Seemless self check in experience - didn't see any staff during our stay. Location very close to a metro station so easy to get around.

Cons: Very disappointed there was a cost associated with extra towels, particularly as we were staying for 4 days and it was very humid so towels did not dry well in the room.

Pros: Very modern building and room. The common area is spacious and provides several amenities. The area allows to experience real Tokyo, far from groups of tourists

Cons: The room is quite small. The absence of staff make the experience a bit impersonal
