Pros: Gorgeous hotel; spacious and clean room. The dry sauna was lovely, and perfect after a cold day out! The staff were kind and helpful.

Beautiful luxury hotel with amazing amenities and staff

Pros: The room was very spacious. The location was also great, with it only being 2 minutes away from the train station that had a major train line. The bathrooms were also clean and the staff were very friendly

Cons: There was no washing machine on site but there was one 10 minutes away, minor inconvenience. The breakfast was also quite small, but allowed us to explore other food options!

Relaxing and exactly what we needed!

Pros: Fabulous location, amazing room, comfortable beds and pillows, larger room than most Japanese rooms, must sauna and spa in our room, wellness pack (face mask, hair treatment, sauna salts etc) exactly what we needed before the long flight home!

Cons: There was a bit of construction surrounding the property but that is just part of Japan

Perfect location, great size rooms and facilities

Pros: Very comfortable with huge bathrooms. Your own private Onsen experience and sauna. Good size rooms. Excellent location, very close to multiple metro lines and restaurants. We stayed in many hotels and airbnb in Japan and this was one of the best. Definitely recommend and will return.

Seriously comfortable night’s sleep in spacious and nicely designed room.

Pros: The hotel is a little bit of luxury in this area, the design is really nice across the whole building (from cafe to rooms). We chose a large room, which really was huge with good amenities, bathroom/sauna and very comfortable beds. The welcome drink and snack in the communal kitchen area is a lovely idea, as are the toiletry bags with pick-your-own provisions and pyjamas. The location is good, the JY is one of the best lines to stay near to as it connects easily to the whole city and the airport.

Cons: It’s not adult only, and it attracts a lot of influencers. Fine but can affect the noise levels. Our room also had a strong food smell coming through the air con unit in the evening - the in-room humidifier and essential oils helped a little. A Nespresso machine would make a good addition to the well stocked in-room kitchenette area.

Exceeded all expectations.

Pros: The instant we walked in and were greeted by happy staff, an impressive amenities bar (including pj’s and full facial treatment packs) and stunning decor we knew we got this one right. The rooms were perfect for our family of 3, surprisingly large and featured a full spa bath and steam room! 😳. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and catered for our every need. Location was handy and 1 minute walk from Ikebukuro station.

Cons: Only that we had to leave.

Pros: The hotel was ideally located next to Ikebukuro station. It was clean and had lots of amenities, such as lounge with free drinks and snacks, microwave etc. The bedrooms have a steam room and jacuzzi, just wish we had the time to try them out but we were so busy.

Cons: Perhaps better pillows?

Superb location!

Pros: Very good location. 4 mins walk to west exit of Ikebukuro and plenty of amenities nearby.

Cons: A tad pricey given no much facilities on site for a 4 star hotel.
