Wonderful stay, very luxurious and spacious.

Pros: Breakfast was wonderful though not as extensive as another hotel in a lower price bracket. The pull out sofer was perfect for two 9 year old boys (larger than our other hotel- we had a suite as well).

Cons: The evening drinks and food was a wonderful addition, though we had this same option for a different hotel which was cheaper. Same drinks and larger food selection

Great time

Pros: Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The staff went out of there way to accommodate our very early arrival. Stephanie was exceptional. She gave advice and recommendations for eating and evenings out. She went out of her way to help organise a train trip to Mount Fuji amongst other things and sent a concierge to the station with us to make sure we had the correct train. Excellent service. Very much looked after.

Cons: Same problem at most hotels (including high end). They call the breakfast English but it actually caters for Americans and bares very little resemblance or taste to an English breakfast.

Great stay at Shangri-La Tokyo

Pros: The room was spacious, the view absolutely stunning, and the service truly excellent. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is ideal if you need to travel around Japan, being right next to Tokyo Station is incredibly convenient, and having taxis available at all hours is a huge plus.

Cons: The only downside is the noise from the train station. From the room we had, you could hear it during the day and early morning. If you’re very sensitive to noise, it might bother you, but I suppose it’s part of the trade-off for such a convenient location. Overall, amazing experience. I would definitely recommend it.
