Wonderful hotel in Tokyo, I miss it already

Pros: We had the most beautiful stay at Hotel Niwa and honestly couldn’t have asked for more. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday week, and the team went above and beyond to make it truly unforgettable. Their kindness and thoughtfulness touched us so much with the card a chocolate bites — especially surprising her with a birthday cake delivered during breakfast with such care and style. Thank you especially to Dining “LIEU” services lead, Hitomi Murakami, for delivering this! It was such a special, heartfelt moment that we’ll always remember. The location was perfect, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and so relaxing — it felt like a real treat from start to finish. We left feeling grateful and already talking about when we can come back. Thank you for making our stay and her birthday so incredibly special.

Solid business hotel for foreigners. Less sure for leisure.

Pros: Good location, easy to find. Upscale feel. Premium materials in well-designed and functional room. Nice pijamas. Very nice vegetable juice and even sparkling wine with breakfast provided a plus. Nice lounge on 3F. Vey nice green mini-gardens on different levels.

Cons: Room was actually very small. Lounge on 3F was barren outside limited coffee/tea times. They make great coffee, and then have NO milk or cream for it (only powder): when asked, the staff actually refused to get it or ask it to be brought up (saying there was no mile/cream, when in fact of course there is, and was with breakfast). How can you serve excellent coffee with milk powder in a hotel that aims to reach this standard? It is an insult to the quality coffee. Denying people to have breakfast on their room slippers was also a rather big disappointment. Breakfast itself was nicely presented, and also rather standard. No public bath/onsen. Overall feel was not cosy/homy.

Pros: The room was big and comfortable, and the staff were great.

Cons: The location is a bit far from central areas like Shibuya or Shinjuku, but we were aware of that, so no complaints.

Pros: We had a superior room which was large by Tokyo standards with an interesting city view. The front desk staff were helpful and the buffet breakfast was extensive and fresh.

Cons: No fresh milk available only powdered milk for making tea in our room.
