Very calming and cozy stay

Pros: I stayed in the manga room for my time in Jimbocho. The concept is wonderful, being surrounded by books (some Junji Ito in English too) and no tv was very refreshing and relaxing. The size of the room was amazing too, plus the personal sauna being an additional bonus! Also loved it being so close to the station and being in a quiet and cozy neighbourhood.

Pros: BOOK Hotel is a truly special hotel located in the second-hand book district. Each floor is dedicated to a topic, and inside the rooms, as well as in the lobby, you can admire a selection of Japanese books available for consultation. The rooms of hotel in Tokyo usually are not so big and also in this case we have a little but confortable room. The hotel is placed very close to the Jinbōchō metro station, and close to the Imperial House site.

Cons: The furniture in the room should be organized in better way. The special chair for massage it not so much useful. It is missing a confortable place to put large lagguge. It is better to provide a buttle of miniral water in the room and a water dispencer in the hall.

Great location and clean

Pros: The location of the hotel is VERY convenient, the staff is super friendly too! The hotel is very clean and you have a lot of convenience stores around.

Cons: The only kind of bad thing is the bathroom, cuz its a bit small and keeps humidity throughout the night

A great location, friendly and helpful staff, and unique room with plenty of space for a fantastic price!!

Pros: This was by far my favourite hotel throughout my trip!! The room is huge which was super helpful when needing space to pack my suitcase. The concept was cool, and had a nice little selection of English manga to read in the room + English novels in the lobby. The private sauna in the room was amazing, little tip, it takes about 2 hours to heat up so turn it on when you get back! And the bed, ughh, so good. I stayed on the bottom floor and it was like a little cozy cave. It also had a balcony which was cool! Lastly, super close the the train station.

Cons: Everything was amazing! But maybe some seat cushions on the metal chairs would be more comfortable, it was just myself so I sat in the armchair which was comfy, but if there were more people in the room I think they’d be uncomfortable sitting on the bare metal.
