Pros: Fantastic area, comfy beds, wardrobe space and friendly staff

Great location, budget friendly

Pros: Great location - several stations only a short walk away. Hosts were friendly, had hotel rules explanation in several languages prepared (they didn't speak much English or Japanese, but that was not a problem!). The room was spacious and had big comfy beds.

Cons: Thin walls - we could hear running water loudly (probably when someone used the toilet on the second floor). Premises were a bit old. Our room had private toilet and bathroom, but they were accessible only by crossing a common area.

Pros: loved our stay here, thank you so much. location was amazing, 5 min to train station, 2x combini nearby, food and shopping, easy walk to shinjuku CBD if you are up late at the bars. tidy room with all the amenities we could need, washing machine and hang dry area available (also coin laundry nearby if dryer needed), good hot water pressure, private mini balcony area (non-smoking).

Cons: be prepared for firmer matresses and japanese style pillows, but that is the same all over japan. the only warning i would say is we were on the 3rd floor, and it's a narrow steep staircase, we didn't have too much trouble, but some might.

Great location

Pros: The staff was friendly and received us well. The common spaces were great. The location is right at Shinjuku Korea town near the nightlife and transportation. Everything worked well.

Cons: Unfortunately, the basement is moldy and it gave me breathing problems. Seems like the issue is not present in the upper floors, so it may be worth it to pay for a room upstairs.

Pros: Amazing location just around the corner to Korea town so lots of great restaurants super close by. About a 15 minute walk to golden gai in shinjuku and a 9 minute walk to shin-okubo station! Nice room with comfortable beds, communal microwave and hot water in the lobby + small fridge and kettle in room. Easy check in and friendly staff! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)
