Perfect stay in Tokyo

Pros: Communication was great, beds were comfortable and decor was nice.

Pros: Very clean, very colourful. Bathrooms were very clean and functional. They also supplied good quality toilet paper compared to the half ply stuff that a lot of places supply 🤣

Pros: Great location and walking distance from two train stations. The rooms are clean and all instructions were clearly shared by the property manager via whatsapp. Having two baths and two toilets were ideal for our family of four. The property had a heater in each room, which was super helpful to warm up the rooms quickly. Finally, washing machine's 'wash & dry' fuction was magic, it actually worked.

Cons: Specifically for international travellers, there was no space to open/ store large bags. None of the rooms had closets or wardrobes. Bedroom 1 had two double beds, with limited space to move around. Bedroom 2 is a Tatami room which had one double bed and a goid space, but there was a note to not keep the luggage. The kitchen was small for the 6 chair kitchen table which made it impossible to move around. Also, it would have been helpful if the property offered some flexibility for early check-in and late check-out on request.

We enjoyed our stay very much.

Exactly as the description! Unique stay in TOKYO, right in a central quite neighbourhood

Pros: Location was fantastic, in a quite neighbourhood as described, a few stairs so beware if you have large suitcases!! Close to train stations and LUUP bikes are parked close by which is really convenient. The fridge and cooking facilities allowed us to have stay at home breakfast and dinners after long days exploring and travelling which was really nice. The washer and dryer came with washing powder which was an absolute life saver. The place was tidy and all instructions were clear and presented in the description! PS the bathroom was so trippy, definingly a highlight

Cons: As we were travelling to this location we unfortunate were not getting the notifications from Booking.com until we got into WIFI. This was at 11am at night which was stressful regarding the access into the accommodation. DESPITE THIS we got an instant reply and sorted the issues out within 15 mins. Major appreciation for this!!

Compact, clean, quiet area. Very happy with

Pros: Everything you need in a spotless compact apartment in a quiet residential area. Very good communication from owner. Was very nice to have two showers and two tiolets with our two teenage sons.

Cons: It look a bit longer to get around than I anticipated.

Great accommodation for a family of five

Pros: Large enough for our family of five Two toilets two showers and a washing machine machine dryer combo with washing detergent. Full unit with a kitchen and dining room two bedrooms. Very clean

Cons: It was a little bit further away from the main attractions than what I realised it would be. Lots of signs within the house advising to keep the noise down due to an angry neighbour Very steep stairs to get into the unit.

Pros: Zany decor, which we loved (inspired us to decorate our spare room at home!), with a decent sized kitchen (with dining table). Good hot shower, & 2 toilets. 2 comfy beds. A decent location, once we’d worked out how / where to exit Shinjuku station!

Cons: Ladders for mezzanine areas (which we weren’t using, as only 3 of us) got in the way - we could adjust their position, which helped. Two comfy beds, but third guest found the futon bed too thin (uncomfortable). No extra padding available (all tied up so we couldn’t use it). Very warm duvets - got too warm during the night.

Wonderful

Pros: Everything. Having 2 x toilets and 2 x showers was excellent for our party of four. The apartment is well located, in a very quiet location and easy access to transport. The apartment was clean and decor really interesting - we all loved it. The host was very responsive and very easy to communicate with. Ive read some negative reviews about this place, however, I think alot of those are more based on a lack of understanding re how japanese accommodation often works - in alot of cases, cost is by per person, not room. Accom in Japan is also much smaller than western countries, but by Japanese standards, this apartment was large. Also, there are rules, just follow them. I'll definitely stay here again!

Cons: Honestly? Nothing. I would say that if you have trouble with steep stairs, it might be difficult (but that's probably the case for most apartments in Japan). If you have mobility issues, I think a hotel is a better option.

Great stay for a family.

Pros: Big apartment, have 2 showers and laundry facilities. Was great for a family with 2 teenage boys as they both got their own bed. The kitchen was great for a short stay. Was close to the metro so was ideal for travelling around the city.

Cons: If you can’t do stairs this place isn’t for you as there are stairs upto the apartment and a few internally. For us it was not a problem
