This magical place with a view to the lake from our bedroom window made it a great place to stay.

Pros: This place is only walking distance to the ski resort, and the bedrooms are lovely and spacious, with a great Onsen to soak in at the end of the day, the meals are especially delicious.

Cons: We couldn't find any faults.

Perfect!

Pros: I really loved the private onsen and sauna; it was very peaceful and not crowded at all. The breakfast buffet was amazing, especially the Salmon Roe—it was top-notch! The service was excellent too. Plus, the location is perfect—surrounded by tons of delicious restaurants and shopping spots. It really has everything you need!

Cons: I understand that kids being loud is natural for family trips, but I personally prefer total silence. That’s why the private onsen here was a lifesaver—no noise, just pure relaxation.

Chill vibe in busy Tokyo

Pros: Amazing location and vibe. Night ramen and free drink station were great. Spa is so relaxing. Bed was very comfy, shower had good pressure. I think booking here was amazing idea for our final leg of travel, made our stay special.

Cons: We loved spa but both me and my partner got some skin irritation after using it - could be allergic reaction to natural water but considering we both had issues - maybe chemicals or some sanitary problem? There is a TV in sauna - takes a bit away from experience - but maybe it is a standard in Japan?

Pros: We traveled from Toronto so time change was tough so we loved that the wonderful black water onsen was open all night! We woke at 3am and enjoyed a private soak. Breakfast was delicious and so many options.

Cons: Little mattress on the floor was challenging but a good experience! Welcome to Japan:)
