Super convenient hotel

Pros: Super convenient location close to the train station, restaurants and convenient stores (one just on the ground floor of the hotel). It is also a good walking distance to Ginza shopping area (15-20mins). Room is very typical of hotels in Japan. Very basic and you can pick free amenities at the lobby. I like how the room comes with plenty of hangers and an air purifier. The AC/heating can also be controlled in the room unlike some other hotels.

Cons: The bathroom drain has a smell to it that was a bit unpleasant.

This hotel saved my Tokyo trip by curing my jetlag insomnia

Pros: I booked this hotel two days after arriving in Tokyo as an emergency change to get an uninterrupted night's sleep and several day naps in. The location was just round the corner from my first hotel and Shimbashi train station, and within walking distance of Tokyo Tower, Ginza shopping district, and the Imperial Palace in a bustling but not overcrowded area with plenty of restaurants. While there wasn't an included breakfast, the hotel is above a FamilyMart and there is a fridge in the room, so you can stock up for the morning. The bed was super comfy and my room had much needed climate control for the warm days and cold nights.

Cons: Nothing. I can't fault this hotel as a place to sleep well, have a shower, and store souvenirs throughout your trip. I'll likely try to book it again if I go to Tokyo flying in from Haneda. It's just so convenient. I had heard that the train noise can be loud on the other side of the building, but on my side they were quieter than the road outside my home, so no worries.

Pros: Lot of eateries , walking distance to Ginza shopping area, walking distance to Ginza metro and Shimbashi train. Room can fit two medium size luggage spread on the floor

Very conveniently located and comfortable rooms

Pros: Very near a subway entrance and easy to find. Tiny but comfortable well equipped room. A good range of breakfast choices. Automated check-in and out simply any language problems.

Cons: The price was a lot higher than on previous stays here but maybe there was something on. Usually excellent value. Language can be a problem but the staff are very friendly and with language translators can always help.

Great location, would stay again

Pros: Have stayed here several times, can't beat the location. Next to Shimbashi Station, 10min walk to Ginza. Rooms are basic, worth paying slightly more for the larger double room if there are 2 of you. Gives just enough room for 2 large suitcases. You can ask for an extra pillow at reception.

Cons: You can hear the trains, one of the issues with being so close to the station
