Taiwan 🇹🇼

Pros: Quite close to Ueno station, thus everything is convenient. The room is actually bigger than we expected, two large suitcases can be opened at the same time - which is good enough for hotels in Tokyo. There is a microwave and water available at the lobby.

Cons: The shower is a bit smelly (just very lightly).

Pros: Small but cozy excellent location. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Cons: Clean rooms, all amenities needed was there.

Perfect location, quiet nights busy neighbourhood

Pros: Hard to beat the location. In a quiet street, but only minutes away from Ueno station, one of the main transport hubs in Tokyo, and 2 streets away from very good streetfood & shopping. Ueno park just on the other side of the station is a plus too. Water cooker, silent (!) firdge, Free coffee and tea to pick up at reception are nice touches

Cons: The hotel seems to have permanent luggage stored in the entry corridors and lobby. One could wonder whether the former restaurant could be used as luggage storage. Also, every day all linnen was replaced which feels like an overkill.

Small, central room in Ueno.

Pros: The hotel lobby had a water dispenser, where we could fill up our bottles, as well as a laptop, some pamphlets etc. The room was clean. They let us deposit out luggage there before check-in.

Cons: The room was small, but that was evident in the pictures.

Very good find

Pros: Great hotel in perfect location . Good value. Very easy and convenient. Will be back again.

Cons: Fragrance used in the room was too strong for my liking. I had to remove it from the room. I couldn't turn on the a/c because the smell was already mixed up with the air filter. As as a point of feedback, I think these types of fragrances are actually detrimental to health and the management should consider removing it for all the rooms to avoid unintended consequences for longer term staying guests.
