Easy check in

Pros: Easy self service check-in. Price is reasonable, within walking distance from ueno station, park, ameyoko market.

Cons: No luggage storage available before or after check in.

Great hotel in great location

Pros: Walking distance to everything, free coffee/tea/soup, very comfortable beds, room decent size. Loved ueno area.

Cons: Didn't receive code for access to hotel and room on thre day had to call to gets codes. Saw several other guest sitting out the front on 2 occasions having the same problem.

Pros: CHA-AN Hotel has a friendly staff that responds to queries as soon as they can. It's so easy to check in using the code they sent. I love that they have free drinks at the 1st floor. It makes you feel welcome and accommodated. The hotel also has a microwave, utensils, and washing area where you can eat. Overall, I love the place and it's very cozy.
