Exceptional, authentic Tokyo hotel for families, individuals or couples 10/10

Pros: We love love loved our stay at the Muji Hotel in Ginza. We were traveling as a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teenage kids) and wanted to have an authentic Japanese experience in a mid tier hotel and Muji exceeded our expectations on all fronts. The hotel itself is so unique being located above the iconic department store. The rooms are much larger than I expected and so well laid out and appointed with everything you need from pyjamas to toiletries and drinks. The kids especially loved their room with a bunk bed, which was unlike anything we had experienced before. The staff are very warm and welcoming and the location is sensational. We ate in the hotel but also explored the neighbourhood. Starbucks Reserve was a favourite spot for morning coffee, we explored all the department stores and there are small izakayas and other traditional restaurants dotted all over the neighbourhood. From here it was very easy to take the train to other neighbourhoods. Muji is a 10/10 for me.

Cons: There is nothing I didn’t like - everything was exceptional.

Nice boutique hotel experience

Pros: This hotel is certainly for Muji-fan! Hotel is located in Ginza and very convenient. Room is well designed with minimalistic vibe

Cons: Some room is quite small so I suggest go with a bigger one Our shower area near the bath tub has unusual smell of urine but is quite minor.

Nice hotel

Pros: A good experience for one night. Depends what you are planning to do in Tokyo, not easily accessible location for public transport. Afternoon snacks and drinks were good and the room was spacious and demonstrated the Muji products well

Cons: Location is good for walking around Ginza, not super accessible by local transport, ie train. I felt it was not worth the money compared to other options available in the area, unless you are a Muji fan

Pros: switched to a bunk bed during the stay. the room is spacious and better for 2 guests.

Cons: Room 807 's shower head needs to be renewed. the peeling paint is just disappointing for a USD 350 room. But this time the shower room is dry and nice.

Pros: The location is impeccable. And in fact it is Muji flagship store downstairs, you can't beat the convenience. If you like shopping in Ginza, it is a great place to choose.

Cons: Room 804's shower room is always smelly. the shower room is always wet(very hard to dry) the odor from the drain is unbearable.

Amazing stay for those who appreciate the high quality and minimalist brand ethos of Muji

Pros: All the Muji branded amenities were amazing, the central location in Ginza is also close to all the exciting shopping destinations in Tokyo, and best of all, the minimalist design of the room is very beautiful and efficient without feeling empty.

Cons: For people expecting a more spacious and large room, they might be a bit disappointed as the layout of the room is slightly narrow. However, bear in mind that this is Tokyo and economical use of space is the ongoing theme for most of the hotel in the city.
