etoe Hotel Shinjuku

We loved our stay at etoe, it was comfortable and very stylish. The facilities were excellent and the location even more

Pros: It was very close to everything whilst also being far enough away you still got a bit of an authentic experience!! The rooms were lovely, and so big!! Very comfortable and peaceful

Cons: I wish we could have used the sauna at least once without having to pay for it as part of the hotel booking.

A great location, lovely little hotel.

Pros: The location was perfect, between two stations and easy walking distance to loads of shops and restaurants. We loved the wine and ice cream station, a really lovely touch.

Cons: The pillows were very hard. There was hair on the floor in our room, black and I'm red so it mine.

Fab!

Pros: Loved the location in terms of easy place to park the car. Was off the main drag, but not far away from all the action. Was modern and clean.

Cons: Zero staff, like didn’t interact with anyone.

Stylish, relaxing, convenient!

Pros: We really liked the location central but just tucked away enough and short ride to Shinjuku. Sauna rooms felt like a really lovely treat, the little touches such as the lighting in there and also the complementary ice cream and wine. We didn't have any issues with the no reception/QR code check ins etc and someone seemed to be around or on the phone when we needed so no issues there! Bed was a little more uncomfortable after a couple nights but this is just personal preference. There is a oven/microwave in one in the shared area which is handy. Projector and the in room record player we had was cool! But would have been even better if there were more vinyls to choose from and listen, we loved this idea. We would stay here again and certainly use the sauna facilities. Thank you Etoe Hotel!

Charming boutique hotel with top sauna & spa facilities.

Pros: Etoe Hotel really serves as an oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a well looked after establishment with excellent spa facilities. I was looked after really well during my stay.

Cons: As I wasn’t used to travelling using the JR line, I was confused as first on how to navigate the Okubo and Shin-Okubo line. Also, I already got my Tokyo Metro Pass so I was not able to use it as much at these two stations. In saying that, the hotel is within walkable distance to downtown Shinjuku so it was still great.

A quirky boutique hotel with easy self-checkin/out, located within walking distance to train station.

Pros: The room and bed were slightly bigger than the typical Japanese hotel rooms, so that was an unexpected bonus!

Cons: The shower was tiny and awkward. No shower curtain so the water went all over the floor. No hooks to hang towels.

I'll come back.

Pros: The location is superb. Staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Not very spacious but it's Japan, yo.

Clean and modern close to Shinjuku

Pros: Great location very close to 2 stations and very helpful staff assisted with checkin. Room was clean and had all facilities that we needed. Record player was a bonus.

Cons: Room is small which is normal for Tokyo but for the price was expecting a little more space.

Lovely stay in a really well located, cute hotel.

Pros: Amazing location, very cute room and very well decorated. Feels very cozy. We really loved the neighbourhood and the proximity to everything.

Cons: There is nothing we didn’t like to be honest. It was a lovely stay.
