Pros: good location and this facility provide everything you basically need for a reasonable price

Cons: the cushion of the quilt is bit rough, would be nicer to have a smooth quilt

Don't be put off just because its not in the middle of Shinjuku

Pros: Don't be put off just because its not in the middle of Shinjuku, its a super quick train ride away and either station is less than 5 minutes walk from this hotel. Great location between two train stations and a vibrant area with alot of restaurants

Cons: Having to take your shoes off when you enter the front door to walk to your room door

Pros: Superb location. Close to Don Quijote, restaurants, train, etc Communication with the host was very good. Checking in and out was easy and straightforward. Bathroom was great. I thought hotel was going to be noisy, but I had a peaceful and relaxing night.

Cons: Not dryer in the hotel

Pros: Great size room and bed! We were worried that the bed would be too small but we were so happy with the size! The room was a great size and plenty of room for two people and all our stuff! The room was never cold and it was great having our own heating. The bathroom/ toilet was great too! Fantastic location, so close to so much food, konbinis, stores and perfectly placed between two stations both under 3 min walk away and so close to Shinjuku! Right near a wonderful quaint shrine too, would 100% stay here again and will suggest it to anyone wanting to have a great size room in a hotspot in Tokyo at a fantastic price, also love the glow in the dark roof!

Pros: Location is great! The room is so cute.The staff is easy to communicate because we check in late and she gave us clear instruction to access our room.

Cons: The bed makes a noise every time you turn over in bed.The toilet space is small.You can hear the neighboring rooms.

A hidden gem

Pros: Absolutely beautiful room, we loved the aesthetic and the room to store our luggage etc. The glow in the dark wallpaper was an unexpected surprise, and beautiful to fall asleep looking at. Excellent heating, kept us toasty and warm in the cold snap we were in! Extremely comfortable pillows, which is something we have found lacking at most places in Japan so that was greatly appreciated! A short walk to all basic necessities - food, convenience stores and the train station.

Cons: The stairs were very narrow and very steep. I worried about slipping every time I went up and down them, especially as the hotel asks all guests to take off their shoes upon entering the hotel and don slippers. I know this is Japanese tradition, however as someone with plates in their ankle and early onset arthritis, I would have felt much safer climbing the stairs in my grippy shoes. The only thing that was a challenge in the room was the blanket. We had a double bed, but the blanket was designed for a king single. My partner and I struggled to both be under it even when right up in eachothers space. As we were only staying 2 nights, and there were no staff on site, it seemed pointless to ask for one to be delivered the next day.

We had a great few days in lucky hotel.

Pros: Very central in shin okobu self check in and spacious room

Great clean, basic accommodation close to the hustle and bustle but on a quiet street. Great value for money.

Pros: Great location, clean, and great value for money compared to other options

Cons: Quite small but you get what you pay for!

Cons: Staff were non-existent, which is ok but sometimes nice to get some information. My room window faced a wall to had very little natural light, but for the price I can’t expect more.

Excellent location to Tokyo nightlife

Pros: This hotel was very conveniently located to public transport and to the Golden Gai neighborhood. There was a western style bed in the room and everything was clean.

Cons: Thank you for the stay -everything was great.
