The room was spacious and clean.

Pros: They responded immediately when I forgot my glasses after checkout. I got them back a day later thanks to their quick and careful actions in order to get them delivered. Thank you so much!

Cons: Instructions for garbage disposal could be more clear.

Spacious and Clean

Pros: The room was spacious and clean. We didnt managed to meet the owner but the instruction given was so clear. Everything was fine and smooth.

Cons: No lift and the stairs were steep. To bring a large suitcase was challenges.

Pros: The location is great, you have a train station super close and also you can walk to one of the main temples senso-ji, was like 20 min if you like walking. It’s not a good place to stay if you have big luggage because it doesn’t have lift.

Great location and good value

Pros: Had a family room with four beds. You lock yourself in, all is provided in the room; tooth brushes, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Great location with 7-11 close by, Ueno station a walk away and Senso-Ji temple all within walking distance. Great value for money.

Clean, spacious and convenient.

Pros: This is my first stay at here. Our family was so amazed of the room cleanliness and spacious for 4 of us. Near train station and just about 7 minutes walk.

Cons: But, our stayed at 4th floor which it doesn't have lift.

Pros: Really great location for exploring either Ueno or Asakusa. No staff on site but very easy to check in/out with instructions provided. Room is a good size for family of 4 with kids (bathtub). We enjoyed our 2 nights and would stay here again!

Cons: Narrow stairs to get up to the 5th floor with luggage (no elevator). Manageable for us but might be a challenge for those with mobility issues. Would appreciate a later check out time.

Pros: This was my second stay with AYA and as always it was perfect for a family of four. The hotel is very close to everything. You have Ueno Ameyoko, Asakusa Kappabashi, Iriya Metro Station and JR Uguisudani all within 15 minutes walk. The metro is just a few minutes away. Rooms are spacious for japanese standard and comfortable, beware though that beds are stiff but that could easily be fixed by the host by getting some additional mattress pads. The staff is very accomodating and even provided a microwave when asked. The area is residential and quiet and there's two supermarkets around the corner. A drugstore, konbini and even some izakayas and ramen shops.

Cons: The beds are pretty stiff. Add mattress pads.

Pros: Big space for the rooms and the bathroom. Easy access to the hotel location. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Cons: The property did not have lift to the rooms. The door does not lock automatically and the people can come in when their face were scanned at the temperature camera. Should have put a warning to lock door manually, would be a great help.

Great stay

Pros: Room was big and quiet neighborhood. Staff was helpful. Highly recommended.

Lovely experience

Pros: big room, large size bathroom and toilet. Nice quiet neighbourhood. The hotel was also very kind to let us keep luggage after check out as we had a late flight.

Cons: no lift to 4th floor unfortunately
