amazing first night in Japan

Pros: I couldn't have expected a better stay for my first night in Japan. The staff was very nice, the room super cute, and the bath was a real treat after a long journey. The area is very busy and touristic during the day, but visiting around the shrine at night was a nice experience.

Great location, comfortable.

Pros: The location is amazing, staff super friendly - the lovely man at check in went out of his way to get us checked in early so that we could get our toddler freshened up. Very comfortable futons.

Cons: The bathroom was tiny - and it is raised so big step up or step down. I wasn't paying attention one night and had a big fall.

Convenient place to visit Tokyo

Pros: Great place - very convenient to visit Asakusa. Quiet room, nice staff. Hot bath is small but very well organised. Nice area where we can have coffee and snacks for free.

Cons: Electric plugs are a bit shaky - safety. Would be good to have more hangers in the room (to put current clothes on). Would be good to be able to open windows / see outside

Fantastic ryokan in the heart of Asakusa

Pros: Incredibly hospitable staff, great room size, excellent location and free coffee/tea and Japan-themed activities (calligraphy, origami, ...) in the lounge. They accommodated my late arrival without any issue and I was even able to use the last slot for the hot bath - if you don't know the etiquette around it, don't worry, there are very handy explanations in the room. All in all, a wonderful experience!

A gorgeous, peaceful place

Pros: Extremely close to Senso-ji and Asakusa Stations. Great host! Wonderful facilities like free coffee, fruit pops, and rice crackers. Lovely lounge area to relax in. I would absolutely stay again.

Pros: Japanese hospitality at its best. Very kind and helpful staff. Futon beds are extremely comfortamble and the room is silent. Would definetely come back.

Comfortable & Recommended.

Pros: Stay here as a female solo traveler for 2 nights. Nice location as it is near the train station. The heater is nice as you can adjust and for me is pretty warm. For a single person room it is spacious and comfortable. I also love the private bath they gave and the staff is super nice and can speak fluent English. Will definitely come here again if I come to Tokyo.
