Nihonbashi Kakigara Ryokan

Pros: Staff were very helpful. I left an important bag in the previous hotel and the staff helped me to retrieve the package through a courier service

Cons: Perhaps can provide simple cleaning equipment for guests since cleaning service isn’t provided , will be great if towels could be changed but understandable since it is more of a value hotel.

Close, easy, clean, enjoyable.

Pros: Easily the nicest place we stayed in Japan. Very close to May train stations, and easy checkin and checkout. Would recommend.

Pros: The room is good, cozy, and spacious by Japanese standards. The staff is responsive and accommodating.

Amazing stay, great staff and convenient location

Pros: Amazing place to stay, traditional style with all the modern comforts. The futons were of exceptional quality, which is a huge bonus for travellers who are not used to this type of mattress. Clean and in a quiet yet strategic location, a short walk away from Suitenguimae or Kayabacho metro stations and from T-Cat terminal (limousine bus service to Narita/Haneda). The staff was incredibly polite and kind, always ready to help whenever we had questions. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Tokyo! Thank you :)

Pros: Great place, simple and exactly like the photos. We enjoyed our stay never much.

Cons: I would have preferred to have no TV in the room. Nothing else.

Pros: Easy self check-in and check out, central location and lovely space. Comfortable futons and tatami mats. We didn't interact with staff in person, but they were very responsive online and gave us lots of information ahead of our stay.

A great place to stay so our children can experience Japanese culture!

Pros: This Ryokan was great, the staff were super helpful, the room was clean and traditional which was exactly the experience we wanted to give our children. Amazing.. will stay again!

Much needed peace after a long flight

Pros: The hotel was lovely and clean, staff were very accommodating and so sweet. It’s situated in a quiet part of Tokyo which was much needed after a long flight and busy days. Great access to so many great food places and so much to see! Short walk (20ish minutes) from Tokyo station so close to so many things to do! The picture is a view from the balcony

Cons: Nothing, lovely place lovely people and an amazing location

Pros: The Team make our stay easier. We were allowed to let our luggage before checkin and also after checkout. The room was perfectly clean We had a wonderful experience in this typical Japanese room. The access to the place is easy, with cat bus, or with access to the main tokio train Station 2 stops away.
