Pleasure

Pros: It was near to the Stations and has 24h reception. The personal were really friendly. It was a pleasure.

Pros: The staff and the location are amazing. The facilities are great value for money. Highly recommend.

Great hotel to strolling around shinjuku and okubo area

Pros: Location is in the heart of okubo area. Super clean, warm toilet seat and of course everyday cleaning room. Connected between two JR lines, shin-okubo and okubo. The receptionist is fluent in english. No need to worry lost in translation. I choose Ryokan Style. Room is quite spacious compared to ither hotel in the area.

Pros: Stayed for just one night, but we had everything we needed for our trip to Tokyo. Great location, literally next to Ōkubo train station, which is one stop away from Shinjuku station. Two konbinis are nearby as well.

Cons: No elevator, you should take it into account if you're bringing heavy luggage. You can hear the trains nearby, but it's not anything that would wake you from your sleep.

Pros: Great location, comfortable bed, cute japanese furniture, friendly staff

Perfect

Pros: The hotel may be a little dated, but it is exceptionally clean and very well maintained. It is well equipped and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really makes a difference. The location is absolutely perfect, especially thanks to the excellent train connections. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again!

Nice and worth

Pros: This hotel offers what it says in its description, so as far as you're aware that there is no elevator, this hotel has everything. We stayed for four nights, the room has a private bathroom with bath, the size of the room is the same as other hotels, the price was very good, the position is perfect, next to a station and next to a family mart and to a street full of places where to eat, walking distance to Shinjuku. The room was clean and you can have it cleaned during your stay. Reception 24h. Def coming back to this hotel next time we are in Tokyo! Thanks :)

Cons: All perfect!

Highly Recommended

Pros: Excellent helpful staff present on reception 24 hours. Less than 1 minutes walk from Okubo station and less than 5 minutes from Shin Okubo station. Quite peaceful neighbourhood. Since room was ready, they let us occupy it even before checkin time. Cleanliness was good. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Cons: We were on first floor. No Lift, but employees invariably help all guests to take luggage upstairs. Bathroom is at a height from the room level which is laborious. Old building, but fully renovated and fully functional.

Pros: Fantastic location — just one stop from Shinjuku, and still within walking distance, but far enough from the main hustle to feel relaxed. Lots of convenience stores nearby, including a 7-Eleven where you can easily send luggage to your next hotel. Plenty of food options in the area as well. It is a steal in the corresponding price tag.

Cons: The windows face the train line, so you do hear some noise. Also, there’s no lift, which might be inconvenient if you have heavy luggage.

Pros: Would recommend the Japanse room! The staff was super friendly.
