Amazing location with lovely local food and easy train access

Pros: The hotel was great in a very quiet area that is still so close to Shinjuku. There’s a 7/11 about a two minute walk up the road and a lovely cafe just across the road. Check in and out was super easy and foreigner friendly, the hotel was quiet and very clean. The bedrooms were small like most in Japan, I have no complaints it was great. There’s also the train station which is about a three minute walk on the ōedo line which wasn’t as busy as the Yamamoto line.

Pros: Room had everything I needed, including a combination washer dryer. It was modern, neat, and clean. Bed was comfortable.

Cons: Location was quite a walk away from the nearest train station. Stay here only if you don't have large bags to drag around.

Pros: The room was big in Tokyo standard, and the frequent towel change was great. The bathroom was also good, with hot water flowing all the time. The hotel location was perfect for me- not too busy, but close enough to everything, and feels safe to walk around at night

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast options- they offer quick, in-room eating with several menu options (japanese and western) which you pick from the lobby floor each morning or evening. I didn't really like the in-room eating, as I was expecting something else, but it is a very cool and flexible meal option. I just wish I knew about it before.
