Reliable accommodation in a lovely, modern part of Tokyo. The trusted brand of Hilton didn’t disappoint.

Pros: Comfortable bed and pillows, very clean and a spectacular view. Found a cosy corner at the bar serving an excellent margarita.

Cons: It was a shame there was a charge of $70NZD to use the tennis courts and a further charge to book rackets. We had made the assumption it was be complementary like the pool and gym.

Pros: The overall accommodation and hospitality by the staff was fantastic. Wally was especially very welcoming and made us feel at home.

Cons: To express my disappointment regarding the pool policy at Hilton Tokyo Shinjuku. While the property is advertised as having a pool, I was informed upon arrival that toddlers are not permitted, a restriction not mentioned in the Booking.com description or fine print. As the pool was my primary reason for booking this specific hotel, this lack of transparency was frustrating and impacted my stay.

Wonderful all round.

Pros: Positioned in easy access to all transport. Very comfortable facility. Typical of the standard we have come to expect from Hilton.

Cons: Only picky point would be the gum is an afterthought. Small space and not that well equipped.

Excellent value, friendly staff, and fantastic service!

Pros: The atmosphere and cleanliness were outstanding, and the staff were incredible — especially Kota-san, who was attentive, kind, and extremely helpful. We had some difficulty navigating the area at first, and he took the time to clearly explain where to go and how to find what we needed. We’re very grateful to him. We booked a suite and were impressed by the value for money. The apartment was spacious, modern, spotless, and fully equipped with everything you could need — pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, and even a rice cooker. It was very comfortable and made our stay feel relaxing and homely, especially on days we stayed in after sightseeing. Daily housekeeping was a great bonus, and the gym was well equipped too.

Cons: The only minor drawback is that it isn’t within walking distance of Dotonbori, but it’s a very short train ride, so it wasn’t an issue for us.

Great stay, I will stay at this hotel again.

Pros: The room was very spacious, and so was the bathroom. The staff were all very accomodating, and allowed us to check out a few hours later which was much appreciated. The executive lounge was a highlight, as the breakfast was offered included a large amount of options, and the staff members were particularly friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the cocktail hour. We will definitely come back next time we are in Tokyo.
