Pros: Had all you needed and in a quiet part of Shinjuku

Pros: It was quiet at night but close to a station. Rooms were fine for one person in each. Beds were hard but still slept well. Loved the rain shower and great views. Breakfast was included

The customer service by the friendly staff was the highlight of my experience.

Pros: Though limited in variety, the food served was high quality. I especially enjoyed their rice and the soup options which alone, made a hearty meal and that's not to forget the choices of small side dishes like saba fish, small sausages and rolled egg. Overall, it's a good money-saver - your wallet and stomach will both thank you.

Cons: I felt that the mattress and pillows were a little hard for my liking.

Pros: The room was adequate, with an excellent location very close to the metro station.

Cons: The bed was very firm for my personal taste, as is the case with all Toyoko Inn hotels.

Tranquillity in Shinjiku

Pros: The facilities are great value for money and very comfortable. I loved how close it was to the busier areas of Shinjiku but still so quiet. Would stay again. I'm also gluten and dairy free and appreciated being able to find suitable food for breakfast.

Cons: The bed was a little harder than I was used to but after being here a while now I've adapted.

Pros: Japanese quiet relaxed atmosphere, there were not other Western guests in the hotel during my ten-day stay. Great location in Shinjuku. Reasonable value. Very good room cleaning service. Great staff at the reception desk and in the kitchen.

Cons: It is very difficult for a Westerner to book a room in this hotel, I was just persistent and eventually lucky to get a room. Breakfast dishes were provided in such small amounts by the kitchen staff that one felt that one left others without breakfast as no matter how little food you served yourself the display trays were always empty.
