Great stay at Shinjuku

Pros: Fast and efficient self check in and check out (key drop). Self service luggage storage room. Many food options and convenience stores within the hotel. Hotel was an airport limo pick up point. Room was small but nice and comfortable for 1 pax

Cons: Could not find the right exit for the underground passage connecting to Shinjuku station

Convenient location,airport access, but the lack of ventilation and the disorganized check-in

Pros: The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, making it conveniently accessible. There is also a bus that stops right in front of the hotel and takes you directly to the airport. Although it costs more than the regular trains, it’s well worth it since you don’t have to carry your luggage up and down all the stairs in the stations.

Cons: The windows cannot be opened, and there is no thermostat in the room to adjust the temperature. As a result, the air can feel stuffy or sometimes too hot or too cold. The hotel provides a heater and a dehumidifier, but having multiple appliances in one room feels inconvenient and does not fully solve the ventilation issue. If you arrive before 2:00 PM, early check-in is not permitted. Unfortunately, when we arrived early, the staff did not initially offer to store our luggage and suggested we return later. We ended up waiting in the lobby for over 45 minutes before asking whether there was a place to leave our suitcases. The check-in process felt disorganized overall. Additionally, there is no water dispenser in the hotel, and guests are provided with only two bottles of water per day, which may not be sufficient for some travellers.

Pros: Good location. Close to Shinjuku but rather quiet, with the airport shuttle bus right at the gate. The room is more spacious than I expected.

Cons: Curtains are too short. I was waken up by sunlight early in the morning.
