Hotel BaliAn Resort Shinjuku Glamping

Pros: Very friendly, smiling staff, went out of their way to make sure I got full value. I think they have pride in their place. The camping/glamping theme was upheld throughout. Even a gammock in your room. You grind your own coffee from a selection of beans, either in the 24 hr snack centre in the lobby or in your own room, where there are metal camping mugs to drink from. All included in rental price.

Pros: The breakfast was affordable price and very delicious. I like the room design and happy with the space and facilities. It was a excellent experince.

Great camping themed hotel in heart of Shinjuku area.

Pros: We had a great stay at the BaliAn with attentive staff who were always happy to help and a nice comfortable and clean room, the hammock in the room was a nice touch to add a bit of extra comfort. We really appreciated the complimentary amenities, food and drinks in the lobby for a quick snack when arriving back from a long day out. Located in the heart of the Shinjuku area the hotel is a great base for exploring this area of Tokyo as there are plenty of bars, restaurants and things to do in the area, also Shinjuku station is very close to the hotel so it is also a great base to travel further away to other part of Tokyo.

Cons: This hotel is in the middle of the nightlife of the city so you may find you hear noise from the streets through the night and into the early hours of the morning.

Pros: The lobby area had free snacks and drinks at all times. Including free wine and whiskey taps and a chocolate fondue fountain! It was a well designed and furnished hotel. I have no complaints. The staff have limited English but that is rarely a problem in Japan, service is always polite and helpful.

Cons: The rooms are small. The music soundtrack for the lobby was nice, but repetitive. They could use an extra CD in the player.

cute little relaxing place to stay after crazy shinjuku!

Pros: the little snack bar downstairs is the cutest thing and the outdoors set up like a campfire. this truely is a magically little place in the middle of shinjuku! everything about it i was just amazed

Pros: Great location, nice common areas and amazing complimentary amenities. Great value for money, our room and bathroom were small but it is quite normal in Tokyo so we were expecting this. Breakfast was good and the staff were very kind.

Cons: Our entry level room was very small.
