Amazingly generous deal in central Tokyo. We'll be back!
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. They let us leave luggage as we arrived on early flights and left on a very late one. The buffet breakfast was included in the cost of the room and was amazing value with a great range of foods, both European style (buns, butter, jam, croissants, fresh fruit and yoghurt) and Asian style (soups, pickles, fish, boiled eggs, etc.,). There was a happy hour each evening when guests could just help themselves to alcoholic drinks in the foyer. And hot and cold drinks were available there in the daytime too. All in all, exceptional value in a great area in a big city. We were delighted with our stay there and we also received an envelope with sachets of organic products for skin care from reception for each night we'd booked. Fantastic! And you could choose your pillow (soft, firmly) on arrival from a wide selection they had.
Cons: Tiny rooms, as is normal in Japan, hardly anywhere to hang or put clothes. No hanging space or drawers.

Interconnecting rooms are great for a family, two bathrooms makes a big difference!
Pros: Breakfast was included which we didn't expect - hybrid Japanese/Western, pretty good options. There was a free serve yourself cocktail bar every evening. Lots of spirits, not many mixers LOL! We had interconnecting rooms which was great. But still not enough room to have suitcases open on the floor, and be able to walk around.
Cons: It's not quite walking distance from Shinjuku JR station with suitcases - but taxi was about 14000 yen so no big deal. Easy walk without suitcases. One of the smaller rooms we have stayed in - but that's Tokyo for you!

A good hotel to stay at if you plan to be out a lot
Pros: Good location. Breakfast included. The rooms were small but the connecting rooms were good for a family of 4.
Cons: Small rooms. Only one lift so it gets very busy during breakfast time. No space for big luggage.
