Pros: Great location, near a major metro station. Tons of bars and restaurants around. The nightlife is amazing (if that's your thing), but it’s very peaceful during the day. Many attractions are within walking distance.

Pros: Business Hotel Yamashiro is a clean, budget-friendly hotel in Shinjuku, close to the station. Rooms are small but functional, staff are helpful, and the location is great for exploring Tokyo.

Pros: We liked the location, close to the nightlife yet away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel, with its Japanese-style layout, is very nice and clean. I recommend it for a different experience.

Pros: The Tatami room feam was interesting to experience. Nice staff. Clean room. All good.
Cons: By it self area is not very calm. It is kabukicio at the end of the day. But i felt really safe. So be ready for night husle and busle.

Pleasantly surprised!
Pros: I was staying in this Hotel for shortly over a week. Its located in the heart of Kabukicho. That means you're surrounded by all things practical: Donki, Konbinis and a handful of Stations. (For Yamanote Shin-Okubo or Shinjuku Station. For others Higashi-Shinjuku and Seibu-Shinjuku). My Room was Basic but quite big! (It was located in the Basement). It did not bother me, since I knew that already when I did my booking. I had a handful of amenities that I didn't even expect! The Staff was super friendly and kind throughout my stay.They offered to clean my room every day as well (which I did not need). Other travelers have written that it was dirty. I CAN NOT confirm this at all. My bed was simply spotless.
Cons: The doors and walls are relatively thin, so it is sometimes quite noisy when the neighbors come home at night. ;)

Deifinite VFM with traditional feel and a quiet space in the middle of vibrant Shinjuku.
Pros: The hotel is located in the heart of Shinjuku, between night clubs and busy streets but is a a point where quite small alleys converge almost making it extra quiet for a good night's sleep! The staff is extremely polite and helpful - so kudos to the brilliant hospitality - and the rooms are traditional style with tatami mats and futon beds which is beautiful! Totally reccomended and an absolute value for money. Bonus : we were able to leave our luggage till 20:00 in the evening, though our checkout was in the morning of that day, no problem.
Cons: The rooms are traditionally made and styled, but a little bit rough on the edges. We really loved the whole setting and did NOT have any problems with that (it felt almost like part of the aesthetics!), but it could seem strange to others. The only thing that seemed a bit off, was a light odour at the small lobby. Apart from that everything was wonderful!
