My partner and I had a great stay at Villa Fontaine, such a great location - could walk to multiple train stations/c
Pros: Fantastic location, friendly staff and large bathrooms
Cons: Small room (common for Tokyo) and beds were quite hard

Pros: Very good size room which is bigger than typical hotel room in Shinjuku. Good and convenient location.
Cons: Reception staff should pay attention with people entering the hotel cause there is no need to use key card for access. There were two times they didn't look up to check who was entering the hotel. They might be busy but security is an important issue.

Pros: Sauna was great pillows and bed were comfortable and the room was very large for Tokyo standards.
Cons: The window has no view and looked out at other building so we had to keep the blinds down which made it very dark.

Pros: Great choice in Kabukicho, not far from Shinjuku station. The young lady with the glasses at the reception was very professional and spoke a good English, as a frequent traveller in Japan it was a relief meeting finally a reception staff with whom one can understand each other! Room was OK and clean.
Cons: Nothing to mention

Good value for money
Pros: The property in the facilities were really clean and the location was fantastic
Cons: Rooms are very small. However, this is typical thing in Japan so nothing particularly bad about this one

Pros: Staff were attentive, friendly, spoke perfect English, just excellent. Rooms are comfortable, nothing luxurious but nice. Bathroom was bigger than what I expected. 7/11 across the road was very convenient and laundromat one minute away by walking
Cons: The place is called hotel villa fontaine Shinjuku but it is Kabukicho which is the red lights district. Not a negative for some but I was travelling with family - Tokyo is incredibly safe but I wouldn’t come back here with family. Would be great for young group of friends or a couple Also not the closest to the station in that it is about a ten minute walk to Shinjuku station. Fun and interesting to walk through Shinjuku and Kabukicho but if you are looking for ultimate convenience a bit closer to the station would be better.

Pros: The hotel is in a great, central location, just about 10 minutes from the maze-like Shinjuku Station, which connects you to virtually anywhere in Tokyo. The rooms are surprisingly spacious for Japanese standards and come equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are also exceptionally friendly and helpful. If you enjoy nightlife, this hotel is a fantastic choice thanks to its lively surroundings and easy access to entertainment. However, if you prefer a quieter environment while staying well-connected, there may be better options elsewhere.
Cons: The only downside of the hotel, paradoxically, is its location. While it’s conveniently close to public transportation and lively neighbourhoods, it sits in a different part of Tokyo’s nightlife scene. As a result, the surrounding streets aren’t as clean, and at times the area can feel a bit edgy, not necessarily in a good way. That said, I never felt unsafe, just more aware of my surroundings. Since our stay was quite short, it ultimately wasn’t a major issue.
