A fantastic stay for our last few days in Tokyo

stunning views, beautiful room and great service

Pros: Stunning views of Tokyo welcome you to this place. It’s well located and the rooms have a lovely layout.

Cons: We loved everything about it, pricing across stay, menus and bar is on the high end, something to consider.

Beautiful rooms, but feels like a 4 - star hotel. Not good value for money

Pros: Beautiful new rooms, the hotel is very trendy and modern, with beautiful views of Tokyo. Location is also ok, close to Ginza.

Cons: Lack of amenities for a 5 star hotel - no spa, no sauna, laundry service says it has an express option but when you try to order it - they say it’s not available. Most surprising thing is that they have no vegan milk options - for a 5 star hotel in the 21st century this is really disappointing, as I am allergic to regular milk. Service is ok but lacks the level of a 5 star hotel - I felt like I don’t exist and my complaints or requests weren’t heard and as if no one really cares. Staff mostly doesn’t speak english. Mandarin Oriental was the same price, and I stayed there a week after - incomparable experience to Mesm. Mandarin was a true 5 star hotel - exceptional service and level
