Akasaka Urban Hotel

Exceptional location with limited room space.

Pros: The hotel is located near the Tameike-sannō metro station of the Ginza line (3' walk). Moving from and to the hotel was extremelly easy and fast. The rooms were clean and quiet. The bed was ok, though not crazy comfortable. The bathroom had all the necesarry amenities.

Cons: Like most rooms on this budget, the space inside the room is little. The room had barely enough space to open one luggage and most of the room was taken by the bed, which was a semi double one. For our case that was enough, but some couples might struggle to fit.

Pros: The staff were very kind, and it is great value for money.

Cons: The furniture in the room was just so slightly worse than in comparable business hotels. Less surfaces to pack basically.

Pros: Best Location in Tokyo far from the noise and has great connections to pretty much everywhere we wanted to go.

Cons: The bed was too small for 2 persons

Great value, great location.

Pros: The location was great and we got really good rate for a single room. Bed and pillow was comfortable. Bathroom was small, as expected, but clean. Loved that the hotel is next to a grocery store. Several metro stations were within a few block radius with direct transit to many popular areas including Shibuya, Ginza, and Asakusa. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re ok with something that’s no frills, but convenient.

Cons: It’s definitely not luxurious, but I still think it’s great value for what you’re paying for. Switching to warmer lighting and maybe nicer looking linens would improve the ambience.

Good value in Tokyo

Pros: The hotel was clean with helpful staff. Managed to get some sleep and was very quiet. It served its purpose! Lots of public transport to get around Tokyo, and a walk away from Tokyo Tower. There's a grocery store right next door as well which was handy for late night snacks!

Cons: As expected in Japan, the room and bed was quite small and cramped, but did its job as a place to keep your luggage, shower and rest.

Very nice

Pros: Humble and cozy place with tiny but very comfortable rooms. Mostly nice personel (about half speaks English). Clean rooms with everyday cleaning opportunity (personel don't force you to leave the room if it wasn't cleaned for 3 days). Rubber duck was a cute touch. Small bed for 2 people was able to fit 2 people very easily (2 meters tall man and 1,7 meters tall woman). Bathroom also had tall cealing (2 meters tall man didn't expirience any discomfort while using it).

Cons: One staff member (old man) was a bit rude and sometimes smirked at our requests.

Pros: The staff was very attentive and kind. The room was very comfy. The hotel is on a quiet street just 2 minutes away from a busy area of restaurants and other services. Also, the subway station is close.

Will consider staying in this hotel again if I visit Toyko.

Pros: Good location - near 3 stations, convenience stores and streets of eateries. Good and fast service - I have called the counter as the WIFI has been disconnected twice during my stay and I cannot connect it with the password. The staff came up to the room in a short time to solve the issue. I have to give a thumb up for their quick response to customer needs.

Good, comfy, safe, smooth

Pros: For the price and the location, the room was perfect, small but cute, even had a balcony. I lived alone there and it was good that it was close to two of the main subway lines!
