Pros: Cooperative staff, good value for money, very nice and clean rooms and washrooms

Cons: I was okay with traditional japanese futon beds which had been laid on the ground. However, someone who likes soft mattress might not find it too comfy. My experience with those beds was good.

Pros: Lovely little hotel in easy walking distance of Ikebukuro station. We stayed as a family with two rooms, one western style, one Japanese style. Both spotless and comfortable! Staff were lovely whenever we saw them and hotel has all modern conveniences, Aircon and Japanese electronic toilets included. It's a quick walk into Ikebukuro so you can enjoy all that it offers in terms of plenty of choice of restaurants, bars and shopping. There is a 7-11 minutes away. You're far enough away from the hustle and bustle though, just enough for it to be quiet at night. This is our third time staying here and won't be our last! Look forward to the next visit!

For the price I can’t complain, they changed towels and emptied bins daily, and they changed my sheets almost every day.

Cons: Only complaint is that the bathroom had a od smell, maybe the curtains or drains? Not sure but other was great

Pros: Location was great, very close to the train station and convenience stores. Haim (or Hame?) at the front desk was so lovely - he allowed us to store our bags securely at the hotel for a whole night after we’d checked out, just so we didn’t have to take them to Fuji for the one night we were there. Fantastic customer service.

Cons: The wifi was pretty weak in the room.

Pros: Close to subway. Lot of restaurants that close late. Got one 7/11 less that 50 meters.

Cons: The pillow wasn't for me to hard. But its my personal opinion

Pros: I liked that it's very close to the station, so you can get anywhere you need to go fairly easily. The area is still quiet and ideal for a quick rest before sightseeing. The bed is very comfortable too.

Cons: It could use just a tiny bit of more cleaning of the dust, but it's okay.
