Pros: Fantastic location near Ueno station, park & zoo!

Cons: “Breakfast” was pitiful, virtually a waste of time. Much better to spend less & get so much more at Toyoko Inn!

Exceptional Value and Comfort in the Heart of Ueno

Pros: The location is a traveler's dream. It’s just a few minutes' walk from JR Ueno Station and Ueno-Okachimachi, making it incredibly easy to catch the Skyliner to Narita Airport or hop on the Yamanote Line.

Over all are ok. Breakfast is very small portion and the tea, coffee,drinks need to improve.

Pros: Location is the best. Close to JR and many subway stations. Lots of restaurants around.

Very convenient location

Pros: The room is very clean. Bed is very comfortable with two pillows to choose from. Super convenient location with just a few minutes walk to Ueno station, and food street is just behind the hotel. Despite the convenient location, the room is very quiet!! Staff is helpful. Complementary breakfast is a plus with very kind staff!

Cons: Toilet/bathroom is a bit small but it's typical for Tokyo. Nothing really that we don't like about this hotel.

Pros: Strategic location, near to JR and Metro stations. Ameyoko Market is just the back row of this hotel. Lots of halal restaurants nearby. Can keep our luggage before check in and after check out. Accepts luggage transfers from another places.

Great location and clean tidy, comfortable rooms.

Pros: A great location - we stayed here 5 nights as a couple and enjoyed it. The rooms were cleaned every day, the on site breakfast was great, and the staff were really friendly. A great way to begin our Japan trip.

Cons: The rooms are small - it was fine for us as we were traveling light, but it's worth knowing in advance the rooms are smaller than most hotels I've stayed in Australasia / Europe.

Really handy location while also quiet and relaxing

Pros: The staff were very welcoming and friendly to us after a long flight. We were many hours early for check-in and they let us not just leave our bags in the hotel until check-in time, but also let us change clothes in the bathroom to freshen up a little before exploring the city. The location is fantastic - very close walking distance to a few different metro station options, and right on the edge of a pretty expansive street market area - but it is not at all noisy. The room, as all are in Tokyo, is small but actually larger than I expected. The bed was comfy and there was room for our luggage to sit about without blocking the room. It was quiet and comfortable and we were well rested while having a great base to explore Tokyo!
