Great location with onsen included and friendly staff.

Pros: Location amazing and onsen included made it a great value hotel

Cons: For the price, nothing. I would have like a bigger room and better bedding but in Tokyo you pay a lot more for those.

Very convenient location

Pros: location is perfect. Ueno is an absolute prime location. staff was very helpful and courteous. with hot spring which was another plus

Cons: Room is small, we stayed in a twin bed room and the gap between the beds were like nothing, so theoretically it's a zipped bed.

Fantastic location and suitable for families with young children.

Pros: The biggest plus point was the location of the hotel - smack right in the middle of the food alleys of Ueno. The hotel was about 6 to 7 minutes walk from Ueno Train Station and 5 to 6 minutes walk from the Keisei Ueno Train Station (Skyliner service to and from Narita Airport). It was relatively easy to navigate the area and we were spoilt for food options. My children enjoyed the bunk bed in the hotel room. The rooms are clean and have ample power points. The public bath in the hotel is well equipped - sauna, cold and hot bath, rest area and grooming area etc. The hotel staff were all well trained, polite and professional.

Cons: The only factor my wife and I liked less about the hotel was that we experienced some backaches from sleeping on the soft and thin mattresses. The room was small, which made packing multiple luggage bags challenging, but we managed eventually.

Pros: The location was great being very close to the JR train station and the Keisei train station. To accommodate the small size of the room we had a double bed coupled with a bunk bed. Beds were comfortable.

Cons: You can really feel the effects of the small room size. Not much space to walk around with, especially with luggage. The bathroom is also small, equipped with a small bath. Our chosen room was non-smoking but our sleep was disturbed as cigarette fumes were seeping into our room for a shier while even when all the doors and windows were closed and locked. Another inconvenience is that our room was located in a building different to the reception/lobby. As such, if there was a matter that needed to be discussed personally with staff, you would have to exit one building and enter another.

Pros: Staff are friendly, room is perfect for us. And the area is close to everything, shops, restaurants and train. And not far from the Ueno Zoo, museum and park.very accessible to everything. Very clean. My favourite thing is the sauna

Cons: Nothing that I can think of, but maybe the lift. Too small and busy all the time. We have to used the stare to go up to our room and coming down. But it’s ok

Great location, very central

Pros: The location was fantastic and the staff were amazing. They were really nice and helpful. We loved our stay here.

Cons: The room was small, but we knew that when booking so we were fine with that. The kids loved the bunks!

Pros: Good location if you're coming from Narita, close to Keisei Ueno, Ameyoko is a lively shopping area with bars and restaurants. The Spa facility with hot and cold baths, sauna, etc, was a great jetlag-kicker.

Cons: The room was non-smoking, but it seems that it wasn't always.

Pros: Fantastic location, close to Ueno station and right in the heart of the entertainment district, buzzing with life and energy. My family thoroughly enjoyed the time and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for someone looking to stay in a city centre location and experience Tokyo life.

Great relaxing stay in the middle of Ueno

Pros: The location is incredible, Ueno was the best area to stay, and despite being right in the middle it was very quiet. Spa and bath facilities were great! Room was a bit smaller than most we’d been in but worth it for the location. Staff were really helpful.

Cons: Down side was finding it cost quite a bit more than the original booking cost, even after accounting for the extra child ( I had been upfront about age on the site but later communicated that it would be charged). I could have booked a larger suite if I had known up front.
