Great budget stay in a great location, right in the heart of Shinjuku. A bit of a tight squeeze, but very doable. Would

Pros: Excellent location in the heart of Shinjuku, perfect budget hotel for two. Staff were super helpful, friendly and accustomed to speaking English. Even with three night stay, fresh towels were provided for us on our door without need of a request. Plenty of space under the bed for luggage to help maximise space

Cons: A little cramped, especially the bathroom, however with the budget prices that is to be expected.

Pros: 6 mins from pink line, 15 mins from green line. Everything you need is in the hotel. Nearby kombini for other needs. Nearby Donki for late-night shopping in the area

Great value, well equipped.

Pros: Small, but clean and well-equipped room. Heater perfect. Bathroom well-stocked. No complaints at all!

Amazing!

Pros: Everything was perfect with the room, but what stood out were the workers, super professional, friendly and helpful 10/10.

Pros: I liked the fact that even though the room is small it is very well thought regarding space. You can store your luggage under the bed. More than that they provide a bunch of amenities and replace them daily. To add to it the location is central to Shinjuku and there a lot of convenience store at 2 min walking distance.

Cons: The only minus would be the street noise. If you are located on the street side expect some really loud noises (ambulances, fire department truck, voices etc).

Pros: Hotel is located in Kabuchiko, close to main attraction in Shinjuku and close to metro. Staff was helpful and kind. I might come back soon!

Cons: A bit pricey in November.... I was sleeping in summer and it was cheaper.

Worth it

Pros: My stay at this hotel in Tokyo was even better than expected. It belongs to a hotel chain I already know, which immediately gave me a lot of confidence, and it absolutely lived up to that trust. The hotel was spotless, which is something I really appreciated after long days exploring the city. Check-in was very easy and smooth, and the staff were not only extremely kind and welcoming, but also spoke good English, which made everything much more comfortable.

Cons: The rooms are small, but this is something that is well known in advance, clearly shown in the photos, and very common in Japan—especially in Tokyo—so it wasn’t a surprise.

Pros: Clean and comfortable. We were confused by conflicting information about breakfast and taxi’s from different staff.
