MIMARU Tokyo Station East

Excellent would definitely stay again.

Pros: Was very clean and tidy had a 7eleven straight downstairs. Was pretty central and an easy taxi ride to everywhere. The staff were very nice and helpful spoke very well English so was very easy for me to communicate with them. Train station very close by, we caught the bullet train for 1hr and 5 minutes to Echigo Yazawa and went skiing one day it was great.

Pros: Close to train and not too busy, but plenty of restaurants near by. 7-11 downtown stairs was a win

Overall a Perfect Stay for a family with Kids !

Pros: Everything was perfect. Small Kitchenette was wonder for us with family of 3 kids. 7-11 at doorstep made our whole trip smooth... with lot of walking/metro travel... Metro Station 2 mins walk is a bliss....

Cons: Beds could be more stable and bit firm.

Very good stay

Pros: Convenient location next to a pharmacy, with a convenience store within the building and more convenience stores dotted around the area, a small grocery store is a few streets behind. Subway station is nearby. A Saizeriya is within the building if you like that restaurant. Great that the 2-bedroom unit has 2 bathrooms as well as a washing machine. Also has 2 dining tables but would have preferred some shelves instead to replace 1 dining table. Staff is helpful and very friendly! They have a kids club situated in Ginza which my kids enjoyed while we did some shopping.

Cons: As usual with Mimaru, the windows are thin and light seeps thru so I have to wear an eye mask so I don’t get woken up too early. They have “blackout” curtains that don’t block much. No shelves to put our clothes in. After you wash clothes, the only area to hang them is over the bathtub with fan on. Still dries clothes quite well but have to wait until everyone has showered before you can hang clothes in it.

Family of 7 visit Tokyo!!!

Pros: · Perfect for Families: We were a group, and the room layout was ideal. It felt more like a small apartment than a standard hotel room, complete with a kitchenette and a small lounge area to relax in. Having proper space to unpack and spread out made a huge difference . · Excellent Amenities: The in-room kitchenette was very useful. The bathroom had a great tub for soaking, and having Apple TV provided free by reception was a nice bonus for downtime . · Quiet & Convenient Location: The hotel is strategically located in the quiet Hatchobori neighborhood. It's a short walk from two Metro stations (Hatchobori and Kayabacho), offering easy access to different train lines. There's also a 7-Eleven right downstairs, which was incredibly handy for snacks and essentials .

Cons: · Walking Distance: Be prepared for some walking. As the hotel notes, it's about a 26-minute walk to the Ginza district, and getting to the main Tokyo Station itself also requires a train ride or a longer walk. This wasn't a problem for us with the nearby metro, but it's good to know if you were expecting to be right on top of a major hub . · Room Tip: The hotel reception is on the second floor, so don't be confused if you don't see an obvious ground-level lobby you're in the right place

Hotel Review

Pros: There where several convenience shops such as 7-11, Lawson and Family nearby which makes it easy to splurge on supper. Its also closely located to 2 metro stations, giving access to multiple lines. Getting to places like Disneyland, Senso-ji, Shibuya, etc took about 30mins or so only. Tokyo Station is easily walkable if one chooses to.

Cons: The aircon is weird. Changing the setting on one aircon affects the other few in the same unit too. Took us a while to figure this out. The room is quite small and doors opened into each other...

An incredible introduction to Tokyo

Pros: Unbeatable location in terms of transport connections. Walking distance to so many great cafes and shops.

Cons: The room was a little cramped.
