Pros: Despite location next to railway tracks, relatively quiet. Good location, close to Yanaka and Ueno Park, 5 minutes walk from Uigosudani station.
Cons: Simple breakfast, some fruit would be nice.

Wonderful β€οΈ
Pros: A nice little quite pocket in a nice part of town. The room was spacious, clean and stylish in the typical Japaneese way. Check in was smooth and the location close to central parts of town.
Cons: Nothing to complain about :)

Pros: Close to station with direct train from narita airport. Easy walk to ueno park and national museum. Ok breakfast. Room was quiet despite being close to railway.
Cons: Slightly earlier checkin or storage for luggage when arriving too early would have been nice; but 3 o clock is normal in Japan.

Amazing and great!
Pros: Hospitality. The location, amenities, cleanliness are all excellent ππ» definitely will stay here again
Cons: It will be great if you could provide more hangers. Other than that everything is great.

If you want to be close to the JR station but not too expensive, you can consider it!
Pros: The most satisfying part is that it is very close to the JR station and is relatively friendly to passengers with a lot of luggage.
Cons: The interior decoration work of the building is still in progress and is relatively unfriendly to people with allergies. The bathtub is too small and requires some effort to adjust the water temperature.

Great value in a good location
Pros: The property was located very well to get the train to Narita airport and that was the reason it was chosen. It is also only a 15 minute walk from Ueno Park (museum, galleries and shrines).

Pros: The hotel is a little run down but the room I stayed in was the biggest I've had in Tokyo. It's been my fourth time there, the staff is great and real helpful, conveniently located 5 minutes by foot from the Yamanote Line. You're not going to meet many western tourists up here. All in all I recommend the place and will stay there again next time. If you want a super clean facility you'd have to go choose a newer one though. And as always in Japan, speaking a little Japanese will always open doors...

COMFORTABLE
Pros: The size of the room is bigger for 2 person compared to other hotels I've stayed in Japan. There is a space for you to sit and rest before going to bed. With complete amenities like small refrigerator, electric kettle, coffee cup (though too small), glass for water and the supply of centralized microwave oven to heat your food from the outside. The front desk personnel are all accommodating and are friendly and helpful.
Cons: There is no compulsory everyday cleaning of the room. You will need to make a request for cleaning. The form for this is provided inside the room. The laundry area has only 1 unit for washing and 1 unit for drying that is why it takes you so long to finish your laundry. I think the hotel should provide additional units for their laundry services.

Basic Hotel with great location and breakfast
Pros: Very good location close to the Yamanote Line and good amenities for the price. You occassionally hear some of the trains as they are passing by in front of the hotel, but it is nothing that woke us up during night. Check in and out is contactless and hassle free. The breakfast was great with a different composition every day (including one fish, one chicken, two vegan, one egg and one vegetarian dish plus toppings, rice and sauces and bread, butter and jam as well as coffee, tea and orange juice.
Cons: Not the newest building, but all in all very good

Clean and quiet room with small usable space.
Pros: The room was very clean and the staff were helpful. We managed to use Google Translate to communicate with all of them. One staff does have good conversational English. It was quiet despite it was close to the train line.
Cons: The sofa was torn and it needed replacing. The coffee table took up a lot of the room in a small space. The kitchenette took up valuable space (we put our suitcases in there). The room layout was strange. It would be better to have small table, chairs, shelves and hooks instead of 2-seater sofa and coffee table. Saying that, we could open a medium suitcase, one at a time.
