A Comfortable Stay in a Great Location

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and decorated in a traditional Japanese style, with a small living area that made it even more comfortable. The location is excellent, very central and well connected to public transport, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, always ready to assist. Housekeeping was also excellent, keeping the room perfectly clean throughout my stay. A great choice for anyone visiting the area.

Cons: Since the room was in traditional Japanese style with futon bedding and floor chairs with a low table, it became a bit uncomfortable over time for us as Western guests who are not used to this type of setup. The room could benefit from a slight renovation, although everything worked well and we did not experience any real issues. The bathroom is small but in line with the typical size of bathrooms in Japanese hotels.

Pros: •\tThe room is very spacious . One room has traditional Japanese floor beds (futons), while the other room has regular beds.

Very sweet and charming. Safe and comfortable.

Pros: Location was perfect for me and what I wanted to experience. I was never to far from food, supplies, subways.

Cons: It was close to busy night life.. so on the odd occasion I wasn’t out in it, you could hear it. But also expected when in such a busy city such as Tokyo

A very good hotel in the centre of Tokyo to use as a base to explore and enjoy Tokyo.

Pros: All I wanted during my stay in Tokyo was a decent place to come back to at night. Shinjuku Urban Hotel provided this adequately.

Comfortable hotel in a busy nightlife area

Pros: The room was very comfotable and spacious making for a pleasant stay, staff were friendly and helpful in answering questions and queries. The fact there is a 7/11 located adjacent to the property is also very convenient for getting supplies. I loved the fact that there was an Origami crane and a small rubber duck waiting in the room on check in, that was a nice cute touch to welcome guests to the hotel. The hotel is also located close to Shinkjuku train station and lots of bars and restaurants are in the area

Cons: Shinjuku is a very lively location and unfortunately there was no sound insulation on the external windows meaning that sleep would be regularly distrupted during the night by the sounds of ambulances and nightlife outside. The bathroom was also somewhat cramped relative to the size of the rest of the room

Pros: Location and the staff were very professional and helpful.

Cons: Room was a bit stuffy.

Pros: Excellent position. Safe for solo female traveler.

Great stay!

Pros: Location, all the little extras such as toiletries (not need to bring any with you), tea, remote to control lights and air conditioning. Staff were friendly and were very helpful.

Cons: Make sure to book a non-smoking room, if you do not smoke, otherwise it's a little unpleasant.

We enjoyed our stay there.

Pros: Staff from the reception to the cleaning departments were all very friendly and helpful.

I was satisfied with my stay here, being in the heart of Shinjuku.

Pros: The staff were very friendly, even though most could only mostly speak Japanese. But it was easy to communicate any problems I had. The room may be small as expected but it was well equipped and comfortable enough for my stay.

Cons: It was unfortunate that my room's toilet seat malfunctioned. The spray stopped working and even after they did something to reset it, it happened again. It wasn't a really big deal, since I can wash myself in the bath.
