Nice hotel, well located

Pros: The location is good with easy access to the subway. My room was small but functional. Breakfast was good.

Pros: cute little room, facility was quiet, cosy, , little PJ's were a cute extra. we paid for breakfast which was nice, nothing over the top but all we needed. good location to walk to the station, lots of food around to grab a bite to eat or a drink, 7 eleven across the rd. overall we had a great stay

Cons: not that we watch much tv but would have been good to have the option for Netflix or another stream services for that time when we just couldn't walk anymore lol

Excellent little hotel, great service, courteous staff, good food. Superbly located.

Pros: Risveglio Akasaka is a gem of a hotel. Great location, all requisite facilities were there and in good working order. The bathroom and bedroom were compact but beautifully designed to accommodate everything we needed. Staff were courteous and helpful. Special shoutout to the Nepali staff at the restaurant and kitchen. Breakfast is especially good - very filling and large servings. They do have vegetarian options too. Also special thank you to the front office staff who helped us with the smoothest check in and check out, as well as helped us get our luggage sent ahead to the next hotel. Rooms were spotlessly clean - clean linen and regular housekeeping. We were very comfortable there and would have been happy to extend our stay if we could!

Cons: The room was great for us as we are average sized people, but folks who are of large build or very tall may find it a bit cramped. However, this was NOT an issue for us! Could not open window in the room; again not an issue for us as it was cold outside, but may be a challenge in summer.

Great location, great staff, clean rooms

Pros: It was my fourth time at Hotel Risveglio and I will definitely come back. The hotel is in a great location, really nice neighborhood full of restaurants and close to the underground.

Outstanding staff and very close to metro lines

Pros: The hotel is located in an amazing location. Few minutes walk to different metro lines, very close to Harry Potter cafe and station. Staff were amazing. We left some items in the room by mistake and they contacted us immediately and sent them by post, which we were very grateful. Also very clean and roomy.

Good location

Pros: The location is perfect, subway is very close by, some good food places as well.

Cons: The room felt quite dusty, might be a problem for someone who is sensitive to dust.

Excellent location to base Tokyo stay

Pros: Excellent location in Akasaka (not to be confused with Asakusa), in the middle of 2 subway stations that easily connect you to the rest of Tokyo. Plenty of food options around the hotel, and rooms itself were big enough to open suitcases etc.

Cons: Only improvement could be shower water pressure

Pros: The location is very good - very close to the akasaka mituke station (about 6 min walk). Lots of restaurants and bars around it, too.

Cons: On the first night, I woke up at 5am because of water dropping from the rain shower on the ceiling. I told the staff and he (mid age guy who don’t speak English) said it could be natural (the water stuck in the rain shower fell down later). I said it’s not just a few drop but constant drops for half an hour. But I decided to see if this was temporary, which was not the case. So next day, I went to the reception where that staff and another staff (female) were working. I explained the situation and they started to talk. At one point the female staff said “kinishii”, meaning harsh or strict. I strongly suspected that the male staff suggested me staying at the current room whatsover. After the whole discussion with other staff, they decided to give me a different room (twin room), which had no issues for the next three nights. I strongly ask the hotel to retrain that male staff who were so reluctant to give me a new option, not to mention underestimating the annoying situation of water dropping in the shower booth.

Comfortable, fantastic location and helpful staff mean we will definitely stay here again

Pros: Comfortable, good heating in winter, nice and quiet and the location is excellent

Cons: The heater controls are at eye level on the bed (which in itself is fine) but the keypad light is huge and fluro green! Drove me nuts trying to sleep each night

Cosy & Comfy

Pros: We loved staying here. We stayed twice on our trip to Japan. It was the perfect base for us. I almost don’t want to share how good it was to keep as our hidden gem! Will defiantly stay here again when we return. The staff are amazing. The hotel is so cosy and comfy.

Cons: Literally nothing. No complaints at all.
